When they installed the new cabs, they gouged my kitchen floor and were unable to repair it. While talking to the owner I mentioned some problems with drawer tracks. He assured me he'd come and fix it. He never came. I called to remind him a few times. Many promises, no action. So then I gave up. He clearly didn't care.

I didn't buy from Cataraqui Granite . We bought our kitchen granite from another place in town. We…read morenow have a mold problem under our sink. Our supplier agreed that the counter needed to come off while we amend the mold with bleach. I called Christine at Cataraqui Granite to get a second opinion. NO BLEACH, she said and explained why. She asked about the suppliers guarantee for the silicon seal. Our supplier didn't mention a guarantee. Christine told me what kind of silicon to get. Finally after giving me information about what I could do (keep in mind, we didn't buy from them originally) she came up with the idea of taking the sink out (the cost of a plumber), amending the mold and reinstalling the sink. This instead of lifting the counter (lots of money). She also researched the product that would be best to get rid of the mold without damaging our counter. She was tremendous. So, when the time comes to replace or suggest granite, I would really recommend Cataraqui Granite. Imagine the care you would get if you were actually their client!

I purchased a counter top from Catarqui Granite and paid 1/2 down in November 2011 for install in…read moreJuly 2012. Install was confirmed for July 23 and measurements had been done by the owner. On July 23 they emailed me after I emailed to ask where they were and was told their bit was broke and they would now not come to August 10th. There was never any option given to me, no solution, no suggestion to use another edging etc. I was also put behine other customers. On Aug. 10th they came, and the backsplash was measured wrong! The installers left with hopes of returning with the right size that day..they said there was time. But the owner Mark, told them no he did not have time to cut another one and I would have to wait until August 15th, two days after my move in date. I pleaded with the installer as I had no water hookup, taps etc. but he said there was nothing he could do and I "Could Not" speak with the owner as he was not there. (I had left Mark two messages and have heard nothing back). This countertop is worth more than 7,000.00 but it is very clear Customer service is when you are placing your order. They don't care that the have left me with an incomplete kitchen. I am currently seeking advise to determine if I have any legal recourse against them for the stress they have caused me etc.
