It always has achieved well compared to other schools in the surrounding area with P.C.C. being the normal secondary school to attend which enables many people to keep friends for life. 2 of my best friends still, I met at Mile Oak. They do so much each year with some type of pantomime performance being the highlight. My brother was involved in the Pied Piper of Hamlet Performance whilst I was involved in Oliver and Joseph and the technicoloured dream coat. My mum has these videos now. The balanced teaching here which is in line with the curriculum gives young people a good chance to start their own path in life. I have ended up at university and am the 1st person in my family to do so. The school football team is always competing to win the leagues. Each year 2 of the best players are chosen to trial out for Brighton Schools Boys who play other counties.

Their friendly and caring attitude shines through in everything they do and they always take the time to talk to you about your child's day. Since starting at Bobtails Montessori my son can hold a pencil properly and write his name clearly and other words such a s mummy and daddy (he's only 3), he can count 100, knows all his colours. But more than that his independence, creativity and imagination have just grown and grown over his time there. We will be sad when he leaves - I think so will he. Just fantastic child care!

The catering options are wonderful - you can provid a packed lunch from home at no extra cost or the nursery can provide hot meals for the children at the cost of about £2.50 per meal. There are several different age groups within the nursery to ensure small groups with the correct staff to child ratio and maximize the learning potential of each child, geared specifically towards their age group. The nursery is OFSTED registered and accepts nursery vouchers as well as offering flexible payment options. Hourly rates or morning/afternoon or daily or weekly rates depending on what suits you - prices are on a par with most other nurseries in the area although in my opinion you get a lot more for your money here than you would elsewhere. It operates from 3 classrooms which are part of a large house, and has a secure outdoor play area. I feel positive that my son will adapt well to school once he leaves here and cant recommend it enough, and feel happy leaving him there in their care.
