At Living Way, this is not the case! A huge portion of the church's spending goes to international missionary families, to local non-profits such as the Alternatives Pregnancy Center in Denver, and a Christian school that they helped build in Ethiopia. The fact that these financials are published in the weekly bulletin offers a refreshing dose of transparency and accountability. If you're looking to feel connected at your church, then Living Way has a lot of opportunities in the various ministries - but you have to work at it. It's hard to find where you fit if you don't already have friendships with people who are involved here. People will, for the most part, leave you alone unless you put yourself out there. The thing that keeps me coming back is the preaching. Pastor Peter Henderson is one of my favorite preachers of all time, and the guest speakers who fill in while he's out of the country are always similarly high in quality.
