My dog's nails tore into my quality leather couch. Yes, the couches are old but still in great shape. So I remembered this place for a small project years ago and decided to try them out for my loveseat project. They redid them in vinyl and we did the matching in person. It was fast, and they are so, so kind! The place for entry is small and quaint like stepping back in time and it's nostalgic in an amazing way! The staff is so friendly and down to earth. The work is beyond superb, the words that came out of my mouth with shock were, "y'all are rockstars!" Yes, I know that ages me but it's hard to find quality work but when you have it - pay the price:) It wasn't unreasonable for the beauty they gave back to us either! Tommy helped me restore a 100 year old barrel chair with rocking springs - not rocking skids. First,he referred me to Windmill Woodworks to have the chair stripped, new leg laved, and refinished. He works in tandem with Windmill. I paid Windmill and Tommy picked up the chair. I was given time and opportunity to select the fabric. I took two sample swatch books home, but nothing stood out. I returned the 2 books and was able to find the perfect fabric for my chair. The job is now complete and can't wait to bring it home this weekend. Bravo Tommy. read more

We have this old rocking chair that has been in the family for generations. The thing's so old that the cushioning had been worn down, and had been all busted up. So I looked these guys up, and loaded up the chair into the car and headed down there. Upon getting there, they helped me with picking out the replacement fabric, and the little extra flourishes that rocking chairs like this one require. They had a wide array of options to choose from, and they made some solid recommendations. I left the chair in their capable hands and came back about a week later, to find that the chair looked better than it ever had before! The cushions look like they were perfectly made to go with the frame, and the color looked even better. They even went and polished up the wood so it just shone. Outstanding service and work. We had 15 boat cushions to re-cover. After 20 years use they needed it badly. The price was very good and the work absolutely outstanding. They look like new. When we set this up, it was out about 5 months, which worked out well for us, we had a trip planned and getting them in after the trip was fine. Tommy said it would be about a week, and even though there was a holiday in that week, we got the cushions back on schedule, and they are beautiful. A couch had a broken support structure for the seat spring. I called Milburn on a Thursday and they came out next day to look at it. They told me they could have it done it a week or so. We called his company early in the morning and spoke to a gentleman. We asked if we needed appointment he said- no we drove clear across San Antonio about 45 minutes - we got there the man was not there at 2 o'clock- lady said he would not be back for the rest of the day and we have to leave our items that needed to be reupholstered, pick out fabric without a price. He promptly replied asking good questions to be sure he understood what i needed. He also told me that there would be a few months wait. The date he gave me was October. When I explained this to Tommy he came by my home to see how they fit the couch to determine the best size to cut the foam. He picked them up on a Tuesday and expected to have them done by Friday, so I was surprised and delighted when they were done the next morning!
