The people who work here are absolutely amazing. Let me start by explaining my situation. I had gotten a dog from an abusive home, he was very skittish and timid. A couple of months went by and he was like a brand new dog, the most sweetest pup you could think of but he had a couple issues running off was one ( we used a leash ) well one day he broke free from my pregnant girlfriend, and jetted out into the middle of the road and ended up getting hit by a car and died on impact. One of the saddest things I've ever went through, my daughter was pretty upset so we did what any parent would do and got her a puppy, his name is Duke. 3 days after we got duke home he started getting sick, wouldn't eat or drink, and was very lethargic. So I took him to the vet and he had Parvo. They told me it would be about 1500 dollars to save his life and even then it's not a guarantee that he would of lived through it. 3 days in my bill was at about 500$ and he showed no sign of improvement what so ever, so I signed him over to them so I wouldn't have to euthanize him. I was devastated. 2 dogs in 2 weeks. Even after I signed him over I called every single day to see if he was making any improvement. They were supposed to call me on the weekend to tell me if he was doing ok, and they didn't call and automatically I assumed the worst. I figured they didn't have the heart to tell me. What happened next was completely unexpected. They called me and told me he was doing really well. It made me so happy just to hear he was going to make it. They also told me he needed to be with his family for the holidays ( it was the same week as thanksgiving) . I was speechless. " I can't pay 1500$ " I said. ( since I signed him over to them they were going to adopt him out to another family for free, but they couldn't adopt him to me.) they told me they saw how much I cared about him and that they gave me 1000$ worth of treatment for free. They can't do this for everyone, but I think my story shows just how much these people care not only about the animals but about there owners too. These people are wonderful and if icould rate them higher I would read more
