I am a Mexican American and have been living in Paris for 4 years - this is my #1 Go To watch guy!
And this one takes the cake! My wife and I went to see him to figure why my daughter's ICE Watch kept stopping. He looks at it and says - oh, the hands are misaligned - the ICE watch is defective - but it looks very new - you should have a 2 yr warrranty?! - We said yes it is under 2 yrs old.... so he says - just take it back to ICE store for replacement or repair... So we go to the ICE watch boutique just two blocks away where we bought the 100 EUR watch and the first thing out of the rude manager's mouth is "No receipt - No way!" - and we say jeez we bought the watch here a few months ago and it has 2 year warranty... pls check your system... "Nope - cannot do!" The manager we speak with is utterly useless and rude.
So we go back to Mil Quartz after the worst customer service experience at the ICE watch and tell him they dont want to do anything. Then he said give it to me, I'll fix it. Normally it should be 20EUR but he does it for FREE and insists no payment at all. I was simply AMAZED for France and especially amazing for Paris! Hope this is a lesson for ICE Watch corporate - teach your stores and your staff some basic customer service - you should be ashamed a small independent watch repair guy has to fix your own product defect to satisfy a customer. You should send this guy some flowers! read more
