Had a small oil painting that I purchased in Franklin, TN and wanted it framed locally. Tried Mikki's for the first time here in Crossville. My experience was great. She was very helpful in selecting the frame and educating me on how to frame my artwork. (I usually have prints so I'm used to framing with a matte surround with glass over it.). She explained how I should frame my artwork and helped to select the frame based on my preferences and type of artwork. In addition she managed my expectations on how long it would take to frame the piece. When I went to pick it up she answered my question and refreshed my memory on how I wanted to hang it. We are new to the area and I had some prints and photos that needed special size frames. I saw Mikki's shop when I was in town and brought in three prints and six photos with a vague idea of how I wanted the finished pieces to look. We discussed how to best arrange the prints (in one frame) and photos (in two other frames) and Mikki selected the perfect mats and frames for each arrangement. They were finished in a week and are absolutely beautiful! What a professional job from front to back- including the little corner bumpers to protect the wall. I was concerned that custom framing would be too expensive. Not at all! These are not stock discount store frames. These are quality frames, reasonably priced, professionally made and something I am proud to have on my wall. I am very glad I found Mikki's shop. read more
