They in fact were not, the rug doctor only made a mess of them! The first night in our new home our nephew (who is crawling) had the tops of his feet turn jet black. I couldn't stand it and wanted the carpets cleaned ASAP for the sake of all my nieces and nephews. Got his number from people in town so I called Matt the next morning. He made sure to make time in his schedule to come THAT day! He got the carpets cleaned and took out the old house smell for us! We are VERY pleased with his work and his quick response time!!!
