I contacted Citadel b/c they don't kill animals they rehome them. As they were completing the bat job chimney caps were required as there were none. I get it, that's my fault. I was initially happy until one night...I was downstairs and kept hearing my fireplace door open, I thought wow that's a strong wind. I would close it to find the door open again. I thought it was weird..but didn't expect to find a raccoon in my window! As I was screaming (bc that helps!) my dog was going nuts. I locked us in my room and tried calling Citadel, there website says 24/7...wrong. My messages got more and more desperate as I tried reaching someone to remove this one raccoon from my house in the middle of the night. This is where my review went from 5 stars to 2 stars. Don't advertise your open 24/7 when your not. To Citadels credit they came out the next day first thing and apologized. Ok that's great thank you, I do appreciate that. I was never offered a concession or a discount on package and my package was well over 3k due to the bat removal. I asked to talk to the owner Aaron and it took me withholding payment to get a call. I would have been happy if he said if the raccoon comes back call us and we'll remove for free, as my raccoon was never caught. I'm happy to pay for work completed but something would have been nice. After all I had a raccoon in my house bc you did not check the chimney before putting on the chimney caps and a raccoon was stuck in the chimney. I'm all about supporting local businesses, but this is one I won't call again. And yes I paid promptly.
