We were short on cash for the repairs and we went to EVERY "pawn" shop in the city and none of them wanted to take my gold jewelry. I found Granny's Pawn online and decided to give it a go. They were beyond friendly, and were very attentive when listening to my story. They gave me way more money than I had ever thought I would receive and also offered to have their son-in-law help with the repairs for a lower cost than the dealership would! Not only that but she was able to help me navigate my way around town; she clearly truly cared about helping my family get our car fixed and get back on the road. I'm so glad that our series of unfortunate events allowed me to meet someone so lovely.

They had no idea what they were talking about, didn't fix the problem, gas lit me and made me feel like I was the problem-telling me I sewed too fast and that I wasn't threading right. Lol. I finally left that store and took it to Gary's. He was kind, friendly, understanding of my situation and fixed the problem. Lucas, really knows what he's doing. He knows those machines inside and out. Now that my machine is aging, rather than trying to make a buck off me and sell me a new serger, he suggested that my machine was still in good condition, (though it is aging) and to ride it out till the end before buying a new machine. He didn't try to manipulate me into buying a new machine when I had a perfectly good one already. He is extremely honest and I will never step foot or recommend anybody to see the other local Sewing Mechanic in town. I will always tell people to go to Gary's from here on out. You will not regret it. He also lets you sew on your machine after to make sure it's up to your standards and explains what the issues were and what he did to fix it. It is a relief and comfort to know that if anything happens to my machines I can take them to Gary's. If you're debating which place to take your machine to in town, do not hesitate, go to Gary's.
