They came over on Saturday to give us a quote and arrived shortly before 8am Monday morning to start working. They quoted us very close to the last company and even did a few extras. We had a small storm come through while getting the work done and (without me asking) they accessed the attic space to ensure no water came through to ruin insulation or ceilings. The work was done quickly, minimal mess while working, the crew was very respectful and they were very responsive to any questions or concerns. I had a few things I needed that they just couldn't do for reasons outside their control(like a discontinued vinyl siding panel), but they gave me options to best resolve the issue. I was asked by two separate people if the finished product was satisfactory. They were hands down the most attentive and courteous contractors I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend them...especially when you're in a crunch to get something done. I will definitely use this company again for future needs. Mattman Construction - Mattman Services.... Same company owned by Matt Mooney and Lacee Hunter…read more..... They just changed their name in an effort to avoid federal, state and city agencies which I notified. DON't USE THEM.... They stole $4500 from me for work not completed. I was lucky enough to have $1000 returned through Paypal Product and Services since they installed 10 windows incorrectly (used plywood instead of 2x4's.) These people are young, non professional and slick but I got around them. (Go to Facebook and enter Matt Mooney's name.... You'll see a picture of him and her with him kneeling on the ground asking her for marriage....) The picture shown is how they will leave your house after they get your money, order the wrong siding material, take off the siding and then they walk off the job. This is how my house looked after a month waiting on them. THEY ARE SCAMSTERS! They are not licensed, bonded or even registered as a contractor through the City of Abilene or even pull permits!. Oh, they might say, they are insured, but they do not insure your home through their insurance policy. It's just for show. The City of Abilene Permit Dept, the Texas Attorney General of Consumer Services, the Texas Dept of Licensing, Better Business Bureau, the Texas and Federal Dept of Aging agencies, the Federal Trade Commission, and State Representative Paul Workman are being informed of this shaddy business, since a law needs to be made to protect consumers of businesses like this. Plus after they let the contract term expire without doing any more work, they had the audicity to ask for more money!....! They deliberately postponed the job till it expired (but still kept my money) and then they come back and say, "we want more money ... $500" because the contract ended. I am a Senior Citizen who trusted this company (based on a recommendation from my "then property manager"). a company with Christian Values. yeah, right ......I had a: 1). A driveway full of siding debris that has been there for a month. Even though the siding contract clearly stated Mattman Services was responsible for hauling off the siding debris, after 30 days of having it on my driveway, I had to pay another company $115 to remove it. 2). New siding inside and outside of the house laying on the ground, for a month, that isn't what I even stated on the contract for them to purchase. Plus it's the wrong size! 3.) New windows that have not been installed correctly. Notice what they put in beside the windows? It's particle board, not the contractual 2x4's.! 4. They did not pull a Permit to install 10 windows. 5. Company is not registered with the City of Abilene Permit Dept. as a Contractor. These guys are "fly-by-nights". I'd be more than happy to forward additional pictures to so you can see how they would treat you and your property. They are thieves and please do not use them.
