Wolf Tree Experts is the worst example of professional tree trimmers I have ever experienced. The…read moretrees on my property are maintained annually, in the fall, when growth has stopped and the birds have left their nests. One of the company's crew showed up unannounced at 7am, waking me, with 6 strangers speaking a foreign language outside my bedroom window, well into my yard. I went outside to investigate, was told in broken attempts at English that they were here to cut the tree. I disagreed and they left the property. Later the same day a rep named Dwight from the local power company came to the house pretending to apologize, claimed that while the extremely well maintained and vibrantly healthy branches do not encumber the 2 distribution lines at this time, they do point in the direction and according to Dwight, could possibly fall, if maybe a big enough storm came through, perhaps causing down-line damage, maybe. Someday. He assured me that only minimal trimming at the top of the crown would need to be done, and two, not two hundred, just two branches would need to be trimmed away from line number 2 in order to allay Dwight's fears of things that haven't happened. I agreed to a minimal trim. What I got was the top 30' of the crown massacred off in horrible fashion, effectively removing a full three fourths of the entire tree. What remains is so sparse it no longer provides 360 degrees of shade, but merely casts spindly shadows here and there. As a retired business owner, and project manager, I personally would be appalled at the extremely poor integrity, knowledge and training of the employees of this company. There was indeed a foreman on the jobsite who was clearly unable to distinguish minimal trim of a few feet, from wholesale destruction of the purpose of said tree. I will be warning every homeowner I know of the terrible quality of Wolf's Tree Experts. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances at all.

My landlord had this company come out to remove some branches off a dying tree that were…read moredangerously close to power lines. They came out and spent an hour or so trimming it back. No problems there. But, they left a bunch of wood scattered in my front yard. Not even in a pile. They raked up the small debris and leaves but left what they call "firewood" just sitting there. The crew left and I figured they were going to lunch or something. It's been over 24 hours and no one came back. I called them to complain and I was told that they don't move the fire wood. Are you serious!?!? There wouldn't be any "firewood" if you didn't cut the limbs. So I'm confused. You are called to preform a service and like any other service industry the crew would clean up their mess. Now I'm the one that has to go and clean up my yard with a busted knee and bad back. I just don't understand how you pick and choose what you decide to clean up. You cut the limbs. You clean it up. My yard was fine and then they showed up and left it messy. Thanks guys. I'll be sure to call someone else that gives half damn to do any future jobs we need. You lost a customer and I'll make sure everyone I know doesn't call you, either.
