I stopped in to pick up a dozen doughnuts for my office mates. They've got all the standard stuff here (glazed, cake, bars, twists, etc.) I had an old fashioned buttermilk doughnut (my favorite of all doughnuts) and it was pretty good. Slightly crisp outside, soft, doughy inside and plenty of glaze to cover each bite. Working in an office of people who are constantly on diets and watching what they eat, the dozen disappeared within 30 minutes of me opening the box. Best sub sandwich in the Inland Empire. Period. Let me tell you why...I have been transitioning to a meatless diet and one of the things I really miss is a good turkey sub. So I tried the cheese veggie sub with avocado at Mikel's to attempt to curb my craving. Honestly, this sandwich was even better than any turkey sub I have had. And they are a great deal! You can get a 8" of pretty much any sub for $4.99! I got a 6" and had a hard time polishing it off. An 8" would be ideal to share. First - the bread. It was hearty, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Great for holding in all the sandwich goodness. The sandwich also came with about 4 slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, sliced onion, bell pepper, Italian dressing, pickles (perhaps homemade?) and about a whole avocado. Seriously, almost a whole avocado in this thing! In a veggie sub, ingredients need to be spot on. All of the veggies were fresh and great quality. I couldn't believe how sweet the green bell pepper was. This sandwich was made with love, it's not the fastest service, so don't go in there expecting it to be slapped together in a minute like Subway. Expect to wait about 10 minutes at the least. But it is well worth it. Oh and be sure to order extra chilis ($0.50) if you want more than the 3 or 4 they give you on the side. I dream of this sandwich. And the day when once again I can indulge in another one. If you are a sub aficionado, you have to try this place. I hear the Italian sub and cheese steak are awesome. read more

Tried this place out since I work nearby, and I had heard good things. I had just gotten off work, and. I called my Wife to see if she was craving anything. Some fries because my Daughter yelled "french fries!" in the background when I was on the phone with m'lady. Some Beer-Battered Onion Rings, just because I feels like it. Every large sandwich comes with a free donut. Why not? I ate my Chocolate Bar while I waited. I got a white glazed w/ Fruitty Pebbles sprinkled on it for my girls. The Ladies here are very friendly with me, and everybody else who walked through the door; even some Woman who seemed to be having a bad day. Got everything to-go, got into the car and jammed home. Came through the door, to two hungry girls. Unwrapped everything and got to noshing.... I liked my Philly CheeseSteak. She caught a bite of a tiny chili pepper that made its way into the sandwich. (They are served on the side of the sandwich, and she thought she picked them all out.) She didn't think it was a good quality sandwich. The fries and onion-rings were awful. It appears that they were zapped in the microwave instead of fried fresh. We all know that stale, rubbery texture these foods get when they are reheated in a microwave. These definitely felt and tasted that way. Even my 4 yr-old Daughter only ate a few fries, before deserting them on the table. I ended up making her soup, because she was still hungry. Will I ever return? Probably. Just based on their reviews I would like to try something else and rereview. Perhaps the Pastrami, or some Ice Cream with the kids. But this is my current assessment. read more

Best subs in town its $6.49 for any 12 inch sub bread is always fresh it always tastes great I live close to a Subway but I rather take the drive to come here they throw in a free donut with every 12 inch sub purchase. During this particular visit, I absolutely had to try the Hot Cheetos glazed donut, which is extremely tasty!
