I questioned an estimate that didn't align with my insurance benefits and they kept explaining to me why they were correct rather than having a conversation. After I requested it, they reluctantly agreed to a preauth. They were about $60 off and I was about $2 off from what the preauth came back as. They never contacted me with the information had to get it from Aetna. This didn't surprise me, as they made a whole production and were wrong. I sent a letter to the dentist asking if he wanted me to come back or not, because I did not want trouble at the office. What I received back was a noncommittal letter back that billing is hard and some other nonsense that didn't address the question. At this point I had no intention of going back. On august 8, I received the letter I had expected, terminating the relationship. They are required by law to send this, so it was totally fine. I actually already went to a different dentist. However it is worth sharing that the letter said, there were a couple of instances where I complained about my coverage and have complained about their fee. To be clear, I had only been once before, for a cleaning, which was mostly covered, outside of a few dollars. Also, I didn't think their fees were unreasonable, they were pretty normal for an out of network dentist. Finally, I don't know why on earth I would "complain about my coverage" to a provider? The provider has nothing to do with that. This simply didn't happen. Bottom line, they are angry about a negative review without wanting to take ownership of how and why it happened. The main thing for me, (and this is more for the business, because I know they read these,) is my review are the facts of my experience. If I am being untruthful, you have recourse, but I'm not, and we both know that. It is disappointing to have you try and pass accountability. I do have a couple of suggestions. If you are concerned with the quality of the reviews you receive, use them as an opportunity to improve. Alternatively, if it bothers you that much to have a customer describe their experience, turn off reviews. I would have been happy to remove it if someone would have called to have a discussion, but that isn't how you chose to handle it. Hope this review helps anyone who reads.

To make matters worse I noticed a weird grey discoloration on that tooth to which she said she could fix it by redrilling because she "used the wrong stuff to fill it". Little did I know that her way of fixing it would cause me to have a root canal because she irritated the pulp in my tooth to the point where I was in agonizing pain. Why she would think it would be a good idea to drill on my tooth a day after I got the filling I'll never know. Afterwards experience extreme pain I immediately went to another dentist who said I needed a root canal and crown. Now that I've paid thousands of dollars out pocket because my insurance has been maxed out, I can honestly say that you need to go someplace else!! Update: They also told me that I would need 10 fillings as soon as they found out I had good insurance. Beware of this scam of a place and I have filed a report with the BBB for them to investigate. I had to go to another endontist and dentist to fix his mistakes. He has a reputation for recommending dental work patients do not need. He allows his assistant to perform work they are not qualified to do. I had to refer his practice to the Health Dept. I received a letter from them stating his practice was cited for poor health condition. This can be vetified by checking with the State. Please beware of this dentist. You will not leave his office without a lot of recommendations for work you do not need. His staff is excellent. Everyone is nice, don't be fooled. It will cost you a lot of money and possibly pain.

I, on the other hand have only had a broken tooth that required a new crown, and recently had to have two molars that required repair just before embarking on a long trip.
