When I arrived, surprise: the car "just sold," and they tried to upsell me on a more expensive vehicle. Classic bait-and-switch. To make things worse, they acted like this was a totally normal and acceptable practice. Not only did they waste my time, but they also showed no remorse for misleading me. Felt like a bait and switch…read more This was not a good experience. I contacted this dealer after seeing a vehicle advertised on their website. It was listed with a "Seth Wadley Price" of $54,996, compared to MSRP of $59,135. The salesperson I spoke with told me that it was available, but when I confirmed the price he claimed that the pricing was a "complete mix up" and offered to sell it to me at MSRP. I declined. It's not right to list a price and then not honor it. I understand that mistakes happen but dealers should make these situations right. Especially in circumstances like this where the "error" is perceived as a legitimate price (7% off) rather than something clearly incorrect (like 50% off).

After a storm totaled my 2017 Acadia on July 4, 2026, my husband and I went to Seth Wadley GMC Used Cars in Pauls Valley looking for a reliable Yukon or Tahoe. Salesman FRED after not listening to what we wanted and bringing us anything but a Yukon or Tahoe....finally after I found it sold us on a 2019 Yukon Denali XL, REPEATEDLY pointing out how well the A/C worked. We noticed a few issues before buying and were promised the vehicle would be detailed, repaired, and filled with gas before delivery. Instead, we drove off with a dirty SUV, a broken center console, warning lights on, burned-out headlight bulbs, an oil light on, and less than 1/8 tank of gas. Less than a month later, the A/C quit completely, blowing only hot air. When I called Fred, he initially said he would check with the service department and get back to me. After I had to call him again, he told me there was nothing they could do because it was a "wholesale" vehicle and even admitted, "Yes," when I asked if they had sold us a lemon. His response was basically, "It was blowing cold the day you bought it, wasn't it?" Being sold a vehicle with major issues after less than a month of ownership, then being dismissed when asking for help, was incredibly disappointing. From the beginning to end, which is the first text to the delivery of the car, it took about 7 days. Mainly because I was considering other options but once I decided to proceed, Seth Wadley had the car at my door step in Houston in less than 48 hours. Any holdup was on my side, so I'm sure it could have been done faster. Josh Woodin provided the best experience and listened to exactly what was important to me instead of just trying to close the sale. Once the transfer was confirmed, they had the car ready to roll on the trailer bed and to my doorstep that day. I would highly recommend this process to anyone who doesn't like spending 6 hours in the dealership and who wants a hassle free process. Tim, who delivered the car late at night (he offered to wait until the morning, but my kiddo didn't want to wait), was professional, friendly, and thorough.
