My cousins father referred me to this shop when I moved here and I've been going here ever sense. I've been coming here since 2015 when I moved to Greensboro to attend UNCG. The location is down the street from NC A&T and is within walking distance. It is beside Luxe, which is a very popular restaurant. When I first started, I saw Kenny. He did a good job, no real complaints. There was some inconsistency with cuts though and some times it felt rushed. By inconsistent, I mean, sometimes he'll use a tool to really cut all the hairs on face and under chin and/or use the stuff to make your hair darker and sometimes he doesn't. I use to get parts in my hair but stopped during senior year while preparing for professional career. Within the last several months, I've been seeing Red who's chair is straight to the back when you walk in. He always does a great job. Kenny (who's chair is to the right when you first walk in) and Red are the only two guys I will get a cut from. It really just depends on who's there when I go and/or who's busy and who's free. The use to have a discount for college students, but not anymore. Their prices increased. It used to be $15 for an adult cut and $12 for a kids cut (or a cut for college student$. Now it is $20 for an adult cut, no college cut price. And $15 for a kids cut. I hate that the prices increased, but this is always where I've been and where I go. I must add that in the beginning, i would get furious because no one would be there in the early hours (when they are supposed to be open) and id just be sitting and waiting. I haven't had this issue within the last year or so, thankfully. its a good barbershop and I recommend it. They are limiting people waiting to two people, have increased sanitation, and are requiring mask while waiting. There used to be more spots for sitting but I'm sure they removed it due to COVID.
