take my advice & don't go!!…read more the worst experience ever in a hair salon ever!! if you want to be greeted by german impoliteness , attitude & professionell incompetency, go. first of they don't have any blow dry round brushes, so they won't be able to give you any volume, you'll always and up with a completely flat hairstyle, -then they won't listen to you & when the result doesn't come out as you expected, they hide ( my hairdresser just ran away ) and in the end it is your fault of course!! but you are more than welcome to come back & pay again for a correction of their mistake!! they never fail to try to drag more money out of your pocket! - be aware there is only old people coming to this salon, because they don't see the mistakes that are done to their hair any more!! and just like the convenience of a hair salon on the königsallee. noone else in their right mind goes there any more - i came in for nicely blended blonde balayage highlights - and got out with orange/yellow damaged hair!! no apology just accusations & rudeness , trying to insult you even! ----- never again!! ----- save your bucks and go to the 20 other salons close by !!!

A nice touch and probably common in German salons. Laura did a great job washing and blow drying my s in 4 stages and took extra time hair. See photos. Because it was close by to my hotel I booked it again for the next week but Laura was on vacation so I had Bert. Again a very friendly greeting from the staff and he immediately came over and introduced himself. I got the delicious café latte with a little cookie as I sat in the chair. I showed him photos of what I wanted my hair to look like. Then when we went to the shampoo bowl he offered me a treatment called Olaplex. It was a four step process and took extra time. This product comes in a set. I believe it is not for sale to the public here in Germany but perhaps in California on Amazon. After he put treatment number three on me he put a very warm wet towel over my entire head to sort of bake in the ingredients into my hair and cuticle. It is 30 more euros but I figured I might as well try something different. When we went back to the hair station and he started blowing out my hair I was astounded at how silky my hair was. Bert (Hubert) was a master stylist and spoke English very well although I did try my German on him. I will not hesitate to recommend the salon and also if you want your hair to be voluminous and silky I highly recommend this Ola Plex treatment.
