Captain Mike took my city-tush and turned it into a fisherman-glute. These pampered city hands that are used to a desk job have grown, like the 36" blue catfish we caught, into a force to be reckoned with. When we ran into stormy weather (which our captain could forecast right to the minute), Mike even let us fish off his covered dock while it passed through. His boat is futureproof, he's using GameShark to see fish beneath him. Jug fishing was the highlight of my entire 10-day vacation, and Captain Mike is such a pleasant and patient educator and adventurer. 100% recommend, Mike runs the lake. ive been on fishing trips before but Mike did the dang thing! My husband and I can't speak highly enough of Captain Mike and his guided fishing trip. It was amazing from start to finish! Mike not only helped us catch over 26 fish but told us all about the lake and gave some great restaurant recommendations too. He filleted and bagged our fish so we could take them home. Had a fantastic day of fishing with Captain Mike on a recent trip to the lake! We started the day fishing jigs for crappie and finished the day jugging for blue cats. We ended our 4 hour trip having caught a couple dozen crappie and and 5 blue cats ranging from 27-37 inches long. Biggest weighed right at 32 pounds! I am NOT much for fishing, but my family is. So, we went as part of our vacation. Mike made it so worth our time. Captain Mike made me and my wife's 10th wedding anniversary celebration perfect. We caught over 30 fish (crappie, largemouth bass, channel catfish, and blue catfish).
