They told us to come around 5pm, and since we had a full brand new tire for them to put on, they said they would check it out. NGL, the waiting area leaves a lot to be desired, but customer service said they would do their best to see if our new tire would work and do their best in an hour. Just in case my calendar doesnt remind me or that I forget that I even had it set up to begin with, I had asked them if they were going to give me a courtesy call or a text reminder the week of my oil change. Fast forward to returning from my vacation and they had sent me a text reminding me and to confirm my appointment for said date and time. I responded to their text and that was it, I was ready. I took my vehicle in. I was promptly seen, given an eta and left my key. I just decided to stay in the waiting area anyway because it wouldnt take that look anyway. I helped myself to their complimentary beverages in their fridge and shortly enough I received an email of all the workups my car needed and that the job is done. Note that this is just an inspection and you are not obligated to get the recommendations done immediately or with them- it is just for peace of mind. In the sheet, it lists what is immediate and a cost estimate to make it convenient for me. Whether you want the work done or not, it is up to you. I promptly paid for the oil change and I got to walk away with estimates for the next job and a completed oil change on my vehicle. Keep up the great job.

Although this event took place a few years ago, it stuck in my mind ever since. I chose Joe's because it is, or was, top-rated in the network and posted a reasonable installation price. Joe's did not honor the installation price Tire Rack quoted. When I questioned Joe about the discrepancy between the quote and invoice, he said, "I haven't updated those prices in ten years." I asked why he expected me to be responsible for his decision not to update his prices. He gave no answer and refused to adjust the invoice. I was also charged for "Road Force" tire balancing, which I did not request and was not asked if I wanted. Further, I was charged an undisclosed credit card usage fee. How this shop remains in business by shamelessly deceiving customers boggles the mind. Trust this shop with your vehicle at your own risk.
