The interiors are original pieces, not reproductions like some other castles. The armory has an extensive collection of historical weapons as this was also a hunting lodge, The library has an extensive collection of books and the reception, morning, Golden and Smoking salons and dinging room are fabulously ornate right down to detailed inlaid floors. We enjoyed this more than the more famous castles we saw in Prague or Cesky Krumlov. Photography inside is forbidden but you can buy a guidebook as a memento quite inexpensively. Also plan to spend at least a hour or even half a day walking through that extensive park.

Castle Hluboka is a wonderful place to visit. It is very tourist oriented and has a beautiful and a large garden to take a walk in. It's worth visiting. guided tours are available for inside of the caste and there is a nice gift shop as well. A restaurant is also located on the premises with indoor and outdoor seating.
