Nothing felt old or shabby. The front desk staff is friendly and fast. Check-in was a breeze. As always, the wait was not long nor did the appointment start late. The medical assistants are always great at these clinics and personable. The care I felt was tangible, despite this being a conversation and not an exam scenario. That being said, I didn't know there would be no exam and this could have been a virtual visit where I didn't drive halfway across town.It would have been super to have known that ahead of time. Rush hour traffic early in the day to see a gynecologist is not in my list of favorite experiences. One star lost there for not giving me options.

A few days later the clinic called me to tell me that Dr. Heyden was only seeing two people from my doctor per day and his quota for the day was already filled. Huh? The only option available was another time that did not work for me or go into the next year, which defeats the purpose of having high deductible insurance if you cannot get the annual checkup. When I indicated that they had some IT issues if I was allowed to make an appointment I could not actually have I was told, "Yeah, we've been talking about it." Gee, that's reassuring. Several days later the clinic called again and left a message. I hoped that they were calling to say that an appointment opened up. Alas, no. Instead it was a three minute long voicemail from someone at the front desk complaining to her coworkers about how demanding the nurses are and why don't the nurses schedule the appointments since they already have the patient right there. My guess is she thought the call disconnected, but it did not. Go elsewhere for your medical needs!

When you first enter, the staff was friendly directing you where to go. Once I was at the physical therapy level I was quite impressed with how clean, bright, and open it was! I worked with the therapist (Isaac P) and his student, each of them were very informative and caring! They were friendly and attentive to what was bothering me. They were thorough in their testing and planning my exercise routine. They have an app which is very easy to use and the exercises were lead by videos and a time clock which was very helpful! My therapist was aware of the cost of treatment and wanted to ensure the end goal-while he enjoys working with his patients, his intent was to not see me again (aka be back to normal)! I love their gym area and the workouts. They're very mindful when choosing them to ensure it doesn't create further pain or discomfort. I am glad I came here for my care and looking forward to my end treatment and healing!

I went home .. The pain continued to get worse - now it is really raising my blood pressure. I will have to wait for two weeks to be evaluated. If you have broken bones - and are in pain - go elsewhere for REAL medical attention. Never again! Worst possible care. They (this is systemic within many Froedtert clinics ) treat everyone like we are all drug addicts. Apparently they don't understand that not giving pain medication when it is truly needed and appropriate ...is as bad as over prescribing or prescribing medication when it isn't needed. No common sense! How can you possibly trust a doctor with no common sense? You CAN'T! Unethical and unprofessional. Heartless.

I had to call and scream at the staff to get the prescription refilled for her. I thought I was doing the right thing by entrusting her care to Aurora. I was wrong. Aurora failed my daughter who was beginning adulthood by responsibly taking care of her health. Shame on them for sacrificing a patient's health to their gods of red tape.
