The roof had three layers of shingles on it that all needed striping along with a skylight that needed replacing. Workers from Big Rapids Roofing came out yesterday morning around 7am and worked until 7:30 - 8pm in the evening. Five men and a woman. The team of six employees worked together great. They knew what needed to be done and they didn't stop until the job was finished. When finished on the roof they cleaned everything up like using a fine tooth comb. They were extremely hardworking, efficient, thorough and kept me informed on what issues they found while on the roof and showed me the boards that needed replacing from water damage. We were fortunate they didn't find any mold in the rafters after all the leaking we've experienced. This team of workers from Big Rapids Roofing I would hire for any job and strongly recommend them to others for all their home or business work project. A month later the installer returned to finish the exterior install but didn't get to installing the 3rd patio door or window. Scheduled to return in July. July came and the installer canceled and my father has a follow-up install date of OCTOBER now. Meanwhile he's been paying principal payments, since April, on the interest free financing for a window and a door that are sitting rent free in his garage. The product is high quality, but if it can't be installed in a timely manner it is NOT worth the price. Be forewarned!!! PS please do not write a social media reply asking me or my father to reach out. He's already done so, and has been in constant contact with the salesperson and scheduler and he's expressed his frustration and dissatisfaction multiple times. You are already aware of this, the only acceptable reply would be to let people know you successfully resolved this issue by promptly prioritizing and finishing the install.

The coloring is scrapped in places, and the white of the frame is visible underneath the bronze paint especially where the bronze paint is thin. The patio door does not open fully as the exterior handle gets in the way. In addition, for the exterior, I ordered cedar trim to be stained or painted the color of the existing trim. The cedar trim came raw- meaning no color. The Traverse City (MI) Pella sales office does not return my phone calls. I was planning on completing Pella windows for the rest of the house including 6 ellipse windows. Not so much anymore. As Traverse City (MI) Pella store does not return my calls, will Pella as a company deal with these issues? I spent $23,500.00 on these units and outside cedar trim. I financed through Pella's finance company, Greensky and made my first payment weeks before the units were installed. Additionally, I signed the sales contract on March 30, 2026. The install date was June 25, 2026, almost 3 months to the day for the install to happen. I ordered cedar trim to be painted the same color as the existing outside trim. The cedar came unpainted, which I then had to do. I asked for a price reduction to which the salesperson said they would mail a check to me. I requested $500.00 reimbursement in the form of a check. After the install, I needed service work which took another month to complete. This happened July 10, almost 4-1/2 months since the contract signing. The windows had caulk on them, the lite frame was visible through the painted bronze color which I had to touch up with a colored pen they provided. The $500.00 reimbursement check was issued to the finance company in the form of a $500.00 payment. Not what I requested or wanted. Overall, I will never recommend Pella Windows of Traverse City or Pella Windows to be used by anyone in their home. Poor product, poor service.
