Factory feel. You call, you are pushing buttons for minutes before you get a person. You walk in,…read morethere are five admins checking you in. The help staff is bloated, meaning there are too many, which drives costs up. Both admin and medical appear to be unhappy serfs, chained by strict protocol. If you ask a doc about a second issue, you rebuffed and required to book a separate appointment.

It is unfortunate that there is a huge chasm between the pretty high quality of the medical expert…read morewhom I saw and the abysmal office/billing services. Moreover, note that if you owe them anything, whether the amount is correct or not, it is impossible to rectify and this outfit blocks you from making an appointment for a return visit. By now I have spent five hours with various members of the administration of this outfit. To no avail. At one point I was even aided by an extremely helpful person from United Health Care (my carrier), and she, too, was rebuffed. As the matter now stands, I cannot go back for a checkup and it is absolutely clear that what United says that I owe and what this outfit claims, are two completely different figures. My only advice to anyone need dermatology attention is--avoid US dermatology partners at all cost.

If I didn't like the dermatologist and their diagnostics, this rating would be a lot lower. I like…read moreDr. Delmont quite a bit, she's attentive and thorough. What I strongly dislike is their ability to return phone calls, check for labs, and overall follow through. I have been trying to get back on my psoriasis medication, and when I have to get labs down outside their office, I have to call and make sure they received the labs, otherwise I feel it's weeks before they go noticed. They had signed me up for the prescription assistance program through Cosentyx which is great, except they didn't give me all the information I needed on the Copay card. After leaving 2-3 voicemails, they finally called back and I was told to call another number and they'd give me everything I needed. Once I got that straightened out, the pharmacy went to fill the medication and discovered that the dermatologist only submitted the pre-auth for the maintenance doses, not the loading dose (2 pens vs. 8 pens, resp.). I got this call on Monday morning. The pharmacy said they would contact the dermatologist, and send over the forms to try and help speed it up and they would call me back as soon as they heard from the derm. Wednesday came, and nothing. I was suffering one of the worst psoriasis flairs I've ever had, and everything was painful. So I called the dermatologist. I asked for my nurse by name, and was sent to the nurse triage line. No call back. I called twice on Thursday, asking for my nurse, again by name. Sent to the nurse triage line. The second time I called on Thursday, I told her I've called twice already and no one is returning my calls, and I needed to speak to someone about a prior auth that was done wrong. She proceeds to tell me that the nurse I've been requesting is out for the day. I said, ok well I called yesterday and still no call back. She then tells me that she's been out all week. I said, "is no one else taking care of her patients, surely the 'nurse triage line' is open to all nursing staff." She said that message are reviewed and call backs are done at the end of the day, and she immediately sent me back to the line..again..only this time she disconnected the call. When I called back, SECONDS LATER, I said "Hi I was just disconnected upon transfer" - she said "who is this, what are we doing". So I left my second message of the day - and still no call back on Thursday. I called back, highly irritated, Friday morning and asked to speak to Dr. Delmont directly. The same receptionist that I'd been speaking to all week. She said "she's not here today". And so I told her I'd called 3-4 times this week, with no call back, and I needed to speak to someone about my medication because I was told the office sent in the wrong prior auth. She said she would take down my name and number, and someone would look into it and call me. Around 12:45 I got a call - but I wasn't in a position where I could answer my phone. The nurse that left a message said she couldn't figure out why it mattered on the prior auth because the insurance company doesn't know until after whether it's a loading dose or maintenance dose but she submitted it and if we hadn't heard back from them by Tuesday to call. So I called the pharmacy to verify the prior-auth they said it was still rejecting. Understanding that it takes time, I called the insurance company to see if there was anything I could do to speed it up - I was MISERABLE and in tears. Wearing clothes hurts. Sweating hurts worse. My hair is falling out. The insurance company said that unless they submitted it as urgent, it could take up to 15 days to be approved, and they couldn't see whether it was marked for urgent or not. So I called the dermatologist back - after all this it was about 2pm at that time - - - - and they had closed for the day. So I left ANOTHER, extremely heated, voicemail - - and here we are Tuesday and no call back yet. Not even to apologize for the lack of call backs in the previous week. Not even to update any status. I have called the pharmacy and they called insurance and pushed the auth the rest of the way through - I just feel like this office just left me hanging. This is the second time this has happened when trying to start new medications. I know I'm not the only patient, and I know they're busy. But when the same patient is calling every day, and is extremely frustrated, at least have the decency to call back and at least check in.

Dr. Anderson did a great job. The prescription he recommended was $500, when I called back to get a…read moremore affordable choice his staff could not return a call after 10 message, I got a call back and they said they would call in a new prescription which never was not completed. I've called and left additional messages for the nurse and office manager it's been 7 weeks later no prescription has been called in. My pharmacist has called twice too.

My dermatologist in the same practice is out on maternity, so they rescheduled me with Dr. Newland…read more She's great! Quick, efficient, direct and helpful. For starters, I recommended this change to their Yelp page, so it should reflect accurately: They are no longer in the confusing medical plazas of St. Luke's, but instead they're at 4400 Broadway Blvd, Suite 400 on the 4th floor, naturally. Don't make the same mistake I did of running late, parking in the wrong garage and high tailing it over to the right spot at the last second! This new space is crisp & clean. Sterile, if I'm honest, but that's a good thing in both the medical world and Covid times. They have all the proper precautions in place like temp. checking, distancing, masking, sanitizer available, etc. Dr. Newland herself was right on time and diagnosed my minor issue in like, two seconds. She also listened when I said I'd rather not take an oral antibiotic (my own personal reasons, focusing on building my microbiome and immunity) and prescribed something else that should work. If I get scheduled with her again I'll be glad to take the appointment, and if she's taking new patients which she appears to be, I'd recommend reaching out.

I love the folks here, the attention to detail, the no muss/no fuss kind of get it done attitude and yet friendly. They treat you like a real customer. Dr. Ruff in particular is a great doctor in whose care I am 100%+ confident in. And kudos to his assistant today, Taylor, who was great to work with. Don't come here often but would not hesitant for a second to strongly recommend the work performed here. What a joy to make a medical visit and actually enjoy and appreciate the experience.

Zero for office/billing/phone services. Beware--this medical outfit 1. block you account if, as…read morethey claim, it is unpaid. 2. put a hold for hours, and in the end you can only leave a voice message. I have been trying for weeks to sort out my co pay for MOHS procedure. According to United United Health it should have been no more than the usual $ 25 copay per visit. According to US dermatology partners it is nearly $ 500! I have by now spend five (5) hours on the phone (they make you wait a very long time), once even with a helpful United Health Care consultant. We got nowhere. Still no appointment could be made. Frankly, if you need any type of dermatology care you will be better off elsewhere. I have no complaint about the medical expert whom I saw. But I cannot spend the rest of my life wrestling with the office and billing personnel who are the most unhelpful I have ever encountered. Goodbye to US dermatology partners.
