Previous experience at other chain shops is that men's haircuts have to be rushed and can be a bit rough. Ashton's are not rushed and she has a smooth and soft approach. The straight razor on the neck was very smooth. She used the electric razor first and then applied the shaving cream. No pulling of hair. Highly recommend! So glad I started going to them after years of going to the chains.

One reason it isn't a five star is because of the wait I waited an hour and a half. The other reason is he doesn't cut women's hair because his wife works next door at a salon so to get her more business he only cuts boys and mens hair. Other people there do though.

There were two guys in the barbershop at the time, one with a client and another one who told me to come back another day...and gave me his card. This was off-putting, to say the least, so I was about to leave when the other barber, Elmer, finished with his client. He approached me q asked me what I needed and explained he told me to have a seat in his chair and he'll be right back. He went and gave the other guy a serious talking to. He then came back to me and apologized for the other guy's unprofessional behavior. Then he gave me a lovely undercut update. He refused payment, because he said it was such a simple thing to do. It was such a kind gesture, and I was really touched. He's a nice guy and he did a beautiful job, I'll be back! I highly recommend Elmer at Prime Time!
