The home itself is perfect for 2-4 people. Everything you need, plus a fantastic view of the river from your porch and firepit. At low tide you can even bring lawn chairs down the stairs to the river and use the makeshift beach to relax.

We are on the great loop and needed a repair to our bow thruster, the marina was happy to work us in even though they were booked through July! So much to do close by, Uber does pick up from here and food can be delivered. If you get the chance this is a great place to stay.

Their Forklift puts it in and takes the boat out & hoses it down after use. Then places it on my designated wood rack again. No hassle. Now (June 2019) I'm waiting for my Va, boat registration transfer from N.C. to Va. so I can change the numbers (& state) off the hull and take my new(er) Center Console boat down for the boating season. Marina management has made it clear to slipholders who has sway here. The last straw for us is no more DIY in the boatyard. From what I hear, 35 other boats at YRYH left as well.
