I did not enjoy my experience at Midtown smoke shop. My first review got deleted. Upon walking in the store I was greeted with a smile and asked if I could be helped. Started great, I asked about a vaporizer I have been looking for since I moved to Miami. He proceeds to say "for loose leaf tobacco?" I stated "no and chuckled. Then I said yes, for tobacco." My boyfriend asked about a couple of the grinders, storage containers and wraps......I showed my boyfriend the area of wraps and he starts to tell the Associate a story. He tells him him "I know that brand my friend works for them in California, they asked me to design a wrap for them and shoot some girls using them. They said I can't shoot it with weed which is funny because it's in California." Then abruptly the Associate tells us we have to leave he cannot sell us anything because he said the word weed. I understand he is trying to follow a federal law but I also know we never said we were buying anything to use as paraphernalia. I also know that we did not break any law by telling a story about being sponsored by one of the companies you have in your store. This store has great product and the Associate tried his best BUT I still would not return to this store. We also have medical licenses which made it frustrating, it felt very unnecessary for the circumstance. read more

I bought my first vaporaizer, battery was not charging , It took me 3 times to go back to exchange it but the new one was broken again, the vendor had to wIt for owner to authorize exchange that took over 3 days, I think they sell cheep refurbished units that they all have problems, The 3rd unit they provided they gave an atomizer that is weak for the battery and never mentioned this to me so atomizer burned out after a minute using it, When I went back again they gave me so so much attitude and terrible service Prices are very high, more expensive that all other places, at least 20 percent higher that competition and awful service, I would never buy anything else since they have the worst customer service and they sell terrible products that are broken and so hard to exchange after after, that's for electronic vaporizers but of you need cigarettes or rolling paper feel free to use the place, Parking around is also hard and you may get a ticket parking in front of it, I did buy over 5 vaporizer , , 3 of them cheep small one that I dropped and broke , 1 large one that I payed 110 dollar, despite I bought so many stuff on regular bases, I spent over 400 in a week, but I had so much problems exchanging and awful service , So many better smoke shops around , I suggest avoiding doing any type of buisness with this place read more

Best smoke shop is SFL. The guy who was there was super friendly and helpful. Their prices on all their glass is the best in the area, which is surprising for their location. I accidently stumbled upon the shop when i was getting a haircut next door, and though i would pop in to check it out. I was glad i did. Great service and great prices. I believe he was the owner and went way out of his way to make sure i got what i wanted. He answered all the questions i had and made me feel right at home. They are also an authorized Roor dealer which is a huge plus for me. I will be going back here for all my smoking needs. They also have cigars, papers, and every accessory you can think of. I really hope this place stays open because there are ZERO shops in this area, and with the great prices and friendly service it really needs to stay here. It is a shame that the owner (I am assuming employee because I cannot imagine someone acting as unempathetic as who I encountered) has to be at their business at all times to avoid situations like this. I visited at around 6pm and the door was locked and sign said closed. This Google location said open and until 10 so I called the number on file. Was told the worker may have been in the restroom and that he would call him up. I guess I interrupted a great shit, bc he clearly acted like he still had it in him. Will not disregard this place for this one instance, but that was an uncomfortable few min in my interruption of his (work) day. Ended up here with one thing in mind after searching other shops in the area with pretty crappy inventories. I was happily surprised by a wide selection of accessories and glass pieces. The guy who was working there (possibly the owner) was extremely helpful and really friendly to us. Was willing to show us how some of the water pipes functioned and gave us an awesome deal on the piece we finally decided on. He also threw in some freebies with the purchase, always a nice touch. What I was met with was proof of the continued need for personal service (that is, brick and mortar locales) in a world of ever-growing choice. Yes, on the one hand, it's great to have hundreds (if not thousands) of sellers vying for your monies, each competing by way of lower prices. However, if you're a novice (as I was/am), myriad avenues of varying information can prove more confusing than helpful. Where I browsed the interwebs for hours to try and figure the best coals, shisha, water levels, etc., it took me all of ten minutes at the Midtown Smokeshop to get all my questions answered. The dude behind the counter (whose name escapes me) was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about hookah, which is important (even if illusory) toward making you, the buyer, feel like you're being helped instead of baited. I'm sure you, too, can appreciate the importance in this distinction. While likely a little pricier than just buying your supplies online, Midtown Smokeshop offers a bit more in the way of service, which more than makes up for the slightly higher prices. read more
