How the diocese allows this school to deny their own based on one person's opinion is scary. So parents do not be discouraged if your child is denied admission here since they are "selective". I was happy to see that this is available for AZ's youth in need. This is a fantastic organization that provides safety, hope, and opportunity for girls that are in need. I did learn that Florence Crittenton has been helping those who suffer from abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy or mental health problems for over 100 years. Today, the agency provides shelter, education, counseling, and social support for girls ages 12-21 and enjoys a reputation for innovative programs that focus on the individual needs of each girl. I cannot do it justice to attempt to explain everything that this non-profit organization does, but if you are interested in learning more, I recommend checking it out. Get involved as a volunteer or make a donation, attend one of their events, just do something to give back; you'll be happy you did!

They used to go to a Phoenix District #1 Public Elementary and I had to deal with constant calls from the school. My kids getting bullied and beaten up, teachers letting the kids do whatever they want. I send my kids to school so they can learn. NWEC does that. My kids are smart, friendly, polite, A/B students and I couldn't be prouder. I am only sad that my oldest has one more year to go in this school (he will be an 8th grader 2019-2020) I am going to have a very difficult time looking for another school to meet the qualities of NWEC...
