In May our septic system failed due to a cracked and collapsed sixty plus year old septic pipe that became clogged with small roots from a nearby bush the size of a tree. We called on a local company, MidSouth Pumping and they serviced our septic tank, and I learned that it had not been properly serviced since about the late nineties. However that didn't solve the problem and John the owner indicated that the problem was due to a clogged line in the pipe just beyond and outside of the house. We than called Roto Rooter and they confirmed the same at a cost of approximately $850. MidSouth charged me $150 and that included digging down to the septic tank with a backhoe and pumping the contents as well as determining the location of the clog. After charging me approximately $850 Roto Rooter advised that the obstruction was due to root and pipe decay within in a period of about 4 to 5 hours. They suggested that I replace the septic pipe from the house to the septic tank and quoted the cost to be $3194.00 which included the piping, excavation of the old pipe and two technicians. We called MidSouth Pumping and John and his brother in law quoted $1200.00 to do the same. John returned the following day and did all that Roto Rooter quoted in four hours for $1200.00. To say the least, I was impressed and extremely thankful for the job well done. John was honest and empathetic to our situation and I will be forever thankful to him and his brother in law. If ever this problem happens to anyone in our community or anywhere else in the local Rutherford and McDowell Counties don't hesitate to call on John and his company MidSouth Pumping, LLC. They are located in Rutherfordton, NC. read more

* * * * * Five stars. I had phoned several companies in the area, one of which was rude to me, one never returned my call, and my last call (and hope!) went to MidSouth Pumping. Everything about this company is five-star! Customer service, appointment settings and reminders, knowledgeable, great care taken, affordable, and expert information and advice shared. The two young men were outstanding at their job. Can't praise highly enough. read more

I honestly cannot recommend this company highly enough!…read more After having some frustrating experiences with other companies--calls and emails going unanswered, and even having someone come out without being able to locate our septic tank--we were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from John and Crystal. Crystal was fantastic from the very beginning. She was prompt, professional, and courteous with communication and scheduling, and she was able to answer every question I had with knowledge and patience. Then there was John. He arrived right on time and located our septic tank within minutes--even though it was buried in an area covered with tall weeds and briars. He uncovered it, explained everything thoroughly (and I may have asked a question or two ), and pumped the tank without a single issue. John was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. It's not often that you come across a company where both the office staff and the person doing the work are this dependable and professional. John and Crystal absolutely exceeded our expectations. If you need septic services, I highly recommend giving this company a call. You won't regret it!

Never completed the inspection and left the broken electrical line in our backyard. Several hours later someone showed up to "fix" the line. A few days later our septic guy came to put on a riser and found a buried electric cap. Upon digging further he found an exposed wire and a second cut area in the line, neither of which were properly wrapped for underground lines. We ended up paying an electrician to properly fix the issue and I called the owner of Quality to let him know what happened. He responded that it's in their contract the buyer pays for any damage they cause to the property and that I should be happy they didn't charge me to come back and fix it the first time. He then proceeded to hang up on me. If you are thinking of using them I would take caution. Their business policy seems to be putting blame on others.
