I recently purchased a home that desperately needed a new indoor paint-job. I've had other jobs…read moredone where add on are expected but Kevin was honest enough to tell me I didn't need everything I thought I needed. He could have very easily added it to my bill and I would not have questioned it. His crew, Marcrita and Greg were amazing. So professional, thorough, and precise!! I highly recommend Kevin and his team! I couldn't be happier with how wonderful my house looks. Thanks Kevin!!

****Do NOT waste your money or time on this company*****…read more I would not recommend anyone using this company! We used Carolina Painting and Pressure Washing, in Lexington SC. The salesman showed up to give me a quote, and appeared to be extremely knowledgeable, and outlined all the services they would provide for painting our living room, hallway and basement . I had read the reviews, which were all positive, and I was excited that he indicated they could do it all in one day. He also stated that they were available to start immediately, due to an outside job being cancelled due to poor weather. I indicated that I hadn't had time to clean the walls or take any wall hangings down, and he stated they would take care of all of this. Unfortunately, I chose to move forward with their services. Shortly after the salesman left, his team of painters showed up. Four painters showed up, and only one of them spoke any English. The gentleman that spoke English, was still difficult to communicate with, because he knew enough to communicate with us, but it was still difficult. Apparently the salesman had not told the workers that they were responsible for taking down the wall hangings, because the painter who spoke English asked us to take them down. The painters did take down the wall hangings but they did not clean the walls. They painted the rooms with one coat of paint and said they were done for the day. We walked through and showed them several areas they had missed near the ceiling, and asked them to correct this issue. It was clear they were in a hurry, from the moment they started, and they were frustrated but did correct the issues. When the painters were done we did the walkthrough, and the paint was still wet, and we could not see any issues. The painters left for the night, and I showed up at the house the next day expecting to meet the painters, so they could do a second coat, according to the contract. However, they did not show up. I contacted the company, and explained they did not show up, that the contract stated they would do two coats, and the majority of the space they painted, still shows the previous color thru their first coat. I was told that the painters would be back before lunch to finish the job. (We weren't living in the house yet, so being at the house was taking time out of my scheduled day/time off work). I told the company I would leave a key hidden, because I couldn't stay there. I showed up at the house at 2:45 and the painters still had not been to the house. I called the company back, and they sent two painters over immediately (both did not speak English) to finish the job. I had to wait at the house until they were done, which was almost 7pm. As the painters left, we couldn't communicate issues because of the speech barrier. However, they had painted over almost every outlet, there was paint all over the ceilings, the floors, woodwork, and they also chipped the wall with a ladder. We did not ask them to come back to fix the work, because they clearly are not professional painters, and we feared what further damage they would do. ***please do not waste your money on this company****. I have attached several pictures to show the workmanship of these painters.

We received renderings that flawlessly align with all we'd set forth to accomplish and the price never changed from its pre contract amount. All materials showed up in a timely manner as promised and the workmanship was true craftsmanship. The new island has proved to be the most appreciated. We love our new kitchen and enjoyed the various steps to reach our remodeling goais.

They will not provide itemized prices, and the plans are not solid. I ended up getting an architect who was working part time for the Home Depot and she told me that the plans were completely unrealistic/ unusable after vetting. It was hilarous actually, the good thing was, the new plans were for free. In addition, I got an itemized purchase list and she took care of purchasing all the items too- a service I would have to pay for as an additional fee with Palmetto ... I went with the Improvement Company for installation. They were professional and did not nickel and dime me- shout out to Andy and Laz! The price for all the items (exactly as I wanted not compromising on quality) and a brand new kitchen design, living room, stairs and fireplace was literally a third of what palmetto quoted for kitchen and stairs only.... We used some of the extra money to Reno our living room walls, floors, a full fireplace update and still had money left back in our reno savings budget to spare! Already planning new renovations for next year. If you go with Home Depot for design and a contractor company like the Improvement Company - you may save more...Palmetto Renovations may "say" they provide a 'comprehensive' approach.... But you will certainly pay for that approach and without itemization. We had money left over from this project- which was wild. Shop around and do your research before making a commitment to this company.
