Then a friend also recommended Dr Bean after he heeled her plantar fasciitis and corrected a limb length discrepancy with custom made orthotics that she raved about which replaced ones she hated from a retail shoe & "orthotic store." Dr Bean performed surgery on both of her children to correct flat feet while they were growing, and to repair a fracture when her son shattered his ankles and one foot in an accident. Both are completely healed and fine, involved in sports in school and happy. I've seen them several times over the years and they are doing great. I had chronic pain that was getting worse so based on these two experiences I went to see him, even though I live in another state, but come here to race. Dr Bean and his staff are the absolute best! I was so impressed with his expertise and depth of knowledge when he thoroughly examined my feet AND my gait! I needed 2 procedures done, one to correct my feet and another to correct the position of my ankles which was the cause of all the problems and I knew I was in good hands so that was a relief. After my surgery, I can say that it actually didn't hurt, I didn't use pain meds after, and now 6 months post-surgery I am painfree and on top of my game. The 2 sets of custom orthotics are really fantastic. I love them. One set is for everyday shoes, and the other for athletics. I've had orthotics made at the top sports medicine orthopedic surgical clinics in the US, but they never really worked and I still had irritating and growing foot pain. These are amazing, as was my surgery. I will come to Indianapolis to see Dr Bean and spread the word to everyone I know to go see him. You cannot take chances with your feet and ankles since they are major weight-bearing joints and foot pain changes and limits your life. I feel like I have a new lease on life with new feet. But with flu season fast approaching, I decided to check out a couple of the local clinics to see who could help me get my preventive shots for the 2020-21 season. This Minute Clinic is located within the CVS pharmacy/drug store on the south side of Mooresville. So, there is plenty of parking for both handicapped motorists as well as other. The signs for clinic hours are located on the front doors, so I knew when to get over to this location. Once there, several folks were scheduled ahead of me and the estimated wait time was 15 to 20 minutes, so I used the convenient computer to log in and select a time for when I wanted to come back and be seen. I was able to pick a time later in the morning which allowed me to grab a quick bite to eat and do some shopping since I knew that I had a reserved time. What I liked was that even though I wasn't seen by the clinic personnel exactly at that time, the monitor mounted on the wall over the computer gave me an estimated wait time which was just a few minutes due to some cases taking longer than simple flu shots and the insurance gathering requirements. The process went smoothly and I was soon on my way. The staff was friendly and I was informed that there would be no payment at that time since it had been successfully sent off to insurance. I suppose it depends upon your insurance coverage whether you would owe any additional amount or not. So glad to have this done. The other clinic I had gone to had no supply of vaccine available and when my wife called to find out if we could schedule a time, they didn't answer their phone. So, I was glad we had a pleasant experience at Minute Clinic instead of the other place. Review #3809
