I was sucked in by them stating it was $85 a month. No fine print. In the time I have been there, prices have got up to $160. After many times battling on the phone, my rate is down to $135 a month. I pay on time and have been there longer than I wanted. You would expect better treatment to good customers. All im told is that they have to stay competitive with their rates. Yeah, well stay competitive when you lose everyone you have. Not to mention, the site manager needs an attitude adjustment. She will be nice to get you in there, then she is the warden. You dont have to take my word. Go ahead, try it out. I just suggest finding a different company.

I got a $128.00 unit through prime storage to hold my stuff as I was in the process of moving. Due…read moreto the lack of security at the unit site, I left my lock on the unit even after moving my stuff out as I was afraid people would tamper with my unit. There are beer cans scattered in the wooded area behind the unit and it's often poorly lit so being a young female I refused to go to the unit alone to begin with. The day I was supposed to be out, I had a medical emergency in Syracuse, which I informed them of, and told them I would race back to the unit to get the lock off. When I did it was too late and they threatened sending my bill to collections for being a day late for a unit I was no longer using. I paid the bill just to find that they were renting out the unit, I PAID FOR, and there was a new lock on it. I would never recommend this company for storage. i never received a notice that they were renting out my unit either. I drove up and found another lock on my unit that I paid a full months worth of rent for. I did not get reimbursed for the rent either. I tried leaving a review on their website but apparently they only show the good ones.

I felt the cost was reasonable until I realized that I would be charged an administrative fee (half the cost of my unit). Additionally, I choose the Dix Ave location because of the cleanliness, however they tried to switch me to the Dix Ave location in Glens Falls. (That location is dirty and has a pest problem - rodents, I know family members who rented from that location). I received a notice that my rent will change in November. The last straw and the reason I will be leaving my contract is they want to randomly raise my rent $20+ dollars - I feel like this is a bait and switch (I got a nice, discounted price, with this price change, I am now paying the 'regular' price) - nice try PS. Thankfully I didn't move too much in, and I can leave easily. BEWARE!

We had to leave our stuff in storage in NYS for 8 months due to Covid restrictions and Mabey's made this easy to do. Pricing for our move was quite reasonable. Helpful hint: The packing crew should absolutely number each box with a sharpie and record how many boxes in total are being shipped. We have the unsettling feeling at least one box got left behind in NYS. So 4 stars not 5.

Horrible experience. Before my move in 2021, the company assured me they had never had problems…read morewith damaged furniture and talked me out of adding extra insurance coverage. That turned out to be a huge mistake. The movers arrived and barely spoke to me or even made eye contact. When my furniture was delivered, I was shocked by the amount of damage. Several pieces of solid cherry furniture had dents, scratches, and gouges, and it appeared that little or nothing had been properly secured inside the truck. They also damaged walls and put dents in my expensive front door while moving furniture through the house. My floor safe worked perfectly before the move, but afterward I had to destroy it just to get it open. They never explained why they refused to move a large computer desk or my matching Queen Anne recliners. They also failed to reconnect my convertible bed, leaving wires hanging out everywhere. Over the years I spoke with and emailed multiple employees, completed forms, and submitted photos multiple times. Each time I was told to resubmit documentation, and then I would hear nothing back. To this day I have not been reimbursed for any of the damages, which would supposedly be based on weight. This is by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. I would strongly caution anyone considering using them.
