I don't know why it took so many years for me to stop by this company. Midas Spring Water is definitely awesome! I enjoyed my first visit and the sample bottle of water was absolutely delicious! It is natural and tastes pure. You won't taste any funny stuff in this water. I had a long conversation with the lady (I forget her name) and received a detailed education about the history of the spring water generated at this facility. The water comes from the ground and is filtered and bottled right on site. I can't wait to take the youngin's to visit. They need this education because they think water comes from factories who bottle it. The brochure says it is the oldest company in Mecklenburg County with continuous service since 1871. Apparently, the current owner intended to build homes on the property but once he learned of its rich history, he decided to keep it running. The company sits on a vast amount of acreage and is way back off the street. I don't know about the delivery but this is a small company. I intend to stop during my tavels to purchase my water.

I'm a repeat customer. Their 5gal,and bottled waters, are the least expensive I've found thus far.

This place is truly a hidden gem in Charlotte so you can avoid drinking the fluoride field water the city provides.

They requested a video call to give an accurate estimate of how many movers and trucks we would need. When their estimate came in (5 movers, 3 trucks and 7 hours) we thought that seemed a bit much but we deferred to their experience. I am giving them 2 stars because they did arrive on time, they generally protected our furniture and homes, The team leader was polite enough and the initial customer service was good - up until moving day. Things we had problems with: 1) The 5 movers were very disorganized and inefficient. This meant they couldn't load all the furniture we requested and during unloading they still went more than 2 hours past their own unloading estimate. When my husband found items in incorrect rooms, they failed to put them in correct rooms, despite repeated requests. We are still finding clearly labeled boxes and furniture in the wrong rooms. 2) The movers used my husband's tools without his permission and still did not assemble the items they were using the tools on correctly. 3) The amount of truck space was mis-estimated. The second truck had barely anything in it. Perhaps because they didn't load all they said they would, but that second truck was expensive. 4) Despite expressing concerns they damaged several items and dented our basement ceiling. 5) And finally, I reached out to them 3 times to try to resolve the issues. Each time they set up a call, which I rearranged my work schedule to take, and then ghosted me. We delayed finishing our move almost 2 weeks because we hoped they would make things right, but they failed repeatedly to communicate. In the end, after paying them over $3k for an incomplete move, my husband and I still had to rent a uhaul to finish our move. I will never use their services again and I recommend you don't either.

They didn't…read moreschedule a day or time I just received a text message letting me know they were on their way to my house. Later that day, I received another text message saying they weren't going to make it and would come to my house the next day. I asked if there was anything we needed to do to be ready and I was told that I could move the little flower pots but they would take care of the rest. They did show up the next day and pressure washed the house, driveway and deck as agreed. As a bonus they also pressure washed a package that UPS delivered while they were cleaning instead of letting me know it had been delivered (I was home). They also told me the solution wouldn't kill my plants. They moved my two large planters in the porch but, they didn't move them far enough away and they still got hit with by the spray and it did kill the plants. Other than those issues the pressure washing was adequate. When he was done pressure washing he told me he would be back the next week to stain the deck. The next week came and went and I didn't hear anything. I contacted him and was told he would come the following week. I got home one day the following week to find him on the deck. I opened the door and asked if there was anything I needed to do. He told me no, he had everything on one side and when that side dried, he would move everything to the other side and finish up. I offered him a bottle of water which he accepted and then threw in my yard. He didn't have enough stain to finish and had to come back the next day. He did come back and finish. He also left his trash in my yard. After letting the deck dry, I went out to move the furniture and discovered there was deck stain all over the patio table. I contacted him and, without an apology, I was told to clean it myself with soap and water. I did but, all the stain did not all come off. I was told it was an accident and he wasn't spending gas money to come fix it. It was my fault for having the furniture on the deck (even though I asked if I needed to do anything with it). I received multiple texts from the owner starting at 10:16 pm saying he didn't make any money on cleaning my house/ deck (I paid the quoted price and did not use a coupon or ask for a discount). Owner was downright rude, has no customer service skills, and who texts a client at 10:16 pm????? Plus, my table still has stain on it that I haven't been able to get off yet. If you want poor service from an irresponsible owner, then by all means, choose this company. Also, after I had my house done I learned several other neighbors used a different company for a lower price.

I'm writing this review as a concerned parent after my six-month-old daughter spent one month in…read morethe infant classroom ("Baby Birds"). I want to share my honest experience to help other parents find the best environment for their children. First, the positives: the campus is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. I also appreciated the organic baby food program, splash pad, and biometric fingerprint entry system, which is a great feature. However, I did notice that at times multiple individuals may enter behind one another without scanning, which somewhat defeats the purpose of controlled access. Beyond the surface, my experience raised several concerns--especially given the cost of tuition. On my daughter's second day, her bottle was mistakenly given to another baby. This is extremely concerning, not only from a care standpoint but also due to the risk of cross-contamination and illnesses such as RSV. The following day, I attempted to provide pre-portioned formula and water as a backup, but was told this was not allowed due to state law. While I understand policies exist for safety, this left me uneasy given the previous incident. I also observed what appeared to be a lack of attentiveness regarding illness. I overheard a parent expressing concern about their baby being sick, and on a separate occasion noticed a baby with visible symptoms (such as a runny nose on their clothing). This made me question how illness is being managed and whether precautions are taken to limit spread among infants. I also observed staff stepping over babies on the floor rather than walking around them. Books were kept in a cabinet behind the front desk and not accessible in the classroom, and I did not observe babies being read to or engaged in developmentally appropriate activities. On one occasion, I saw a baby playing with a small plastic storage container, which raised safety concerns. Additionally, babies appeared to spend extended time (30+ minutes) in container seats, which felt excessive. The school offers camera access with a clear view of the classroom, but it is limited to 30 minutes per parent and does not include audio. From what I consistently observed, the routine seemed to focus on feeding, changing, and placing babies on the floor for independent play. The environment felt rushed at times--more focused on managing the babies than nurturing and engaging them. I also had a small but telling experience where my daughter was changed out of her outfit before I could even leave the parking lot, and I was told staff did not have time to put outfits like that back on. I would recommend sending infants in simple clothing like sleepers. Lastly, there is no online billing portal. Payments are automatically withdrawn weekly using bank information, and statements are not issued until the end of the month, which lacked clarity. Due to my concerns, I ultimately withdrew my daughter before the required two-week notice period. This may be a good fit for families seeking a clean, basic daycare environment. However, for those looking for a more enriching, nurturing experience--especially at this price point--it may fall short. I do believe there is potential, but the level of care and engagement did not align with my expectations. I am looking for a place where my child is not only cared for, but truly nurtured and supported in her development.

I had a very eye opening experience dealing with Heather King at Forrestal Academy. After reaching…read moreout initially to set up enrollment I was notified verbally of a registration fee and the tuition dues. I asked for an in person meeting prior to enrollment date in lou of being thorough and understanding what we should expect. The school requires you to provide your account numbers so they can automatically pull funds as they wish. I let them know I was more comfortable with other forms of payment where I had more control over what amount they were pulling. It wasn't until a few days before the planned enrollment date I received a call from Heather asking me for an additional fee we did not previously discuss. An annual fee. An annual fee, before we were there one day? Annual fees come annually and there was zero mentioned of this during any of our meetings. Heather was quick and happy to mentioned it was in their 20 page packet in the fine print that I signed. This was brought up after they wanted my account information which leads me to believe they would have just pulled any amount they wanted without my knowledge. I ultimately did not provide any account numbers prior as I had planned on setting up a secure monitored account that had not been done yet. SO if I had done so they would have just pulled what they wanted at any time. I decided to put our start on hold because of the lost trust and concern of starting off on the right foot. Now Heather expects me to pay tuition for the time it took me to decide that we were not moving forward because of her untransparent actions. This school is all about showcasing the good then get your account numbers and do what they want where they have control over what they take from your account. Good luck with that business model.
