They refused to change my "customer supplied" sway bar links because they wanted to mark them up and couldn't. I bought top of the line Moog links which was better than any they would have supplied. I've gone in and fixed their electrical issues at their store many times over the years but will not be doing that anymore. way to lose your own electrician and customer after I just applied for a Midas credit card I will now never use. read more

Went to midas last month for an oil change. My car had been inspected and worked on right before this. When I came back they had a list of things that needed fixed including parts I just had put in. Took my car to a local ship and they had 0 clue what midas was talking about and told me they couldn't find anything wrong with my car. Really should have learned from the last time I had issues with this place. Will not be returning and suggest others don't either.​ read more

Very disappointed in the service I received by my local Midas in Bowling Green, Ohio. I when getting an oil change they informed me that I needed some suspension work - specifically font axle bearings and CV joint. While the car rode smooth, I trusted them and a month later I took the car in to be repaired. I didn't mind that once I get the car in that they found more things wrong, doubling the cost, and that it took a full week to fix but when I get he car back it felt worse that when I dropped it off. The ride was rough and the front left in which they had worked on felt loose so I brought it back a couple days later and they told me that the CV. Joint they put in went bad and they would replace it but also that my coil sprint was broken and that I would need the strut replaced. I asked how it has broken, questioning if it was result to the CV joint and they said no, that it is common for my 100 mile Subaru Legacy(which is in great well maintained condition) and the stated that it wasn't broken when they worked on it and that they had photos but that made zero sense as what are the odds that my strut broke on the same wheel they had been working on right after I received it and the CV joint needed to be replaced....they informed that the they removed the broken part of the spring and that I should notice anything. That was not the case as when I got the car back it still felt off and broken spring rattled making the engine idol more noticeable and the ride very rough but it is my family's only car so we drove it for a week as we needed but it got worse and we brought it back and we were informed that the CV joint broke again and that they ordered an OEM part that would take a full week...it took 2 weeks and when I brought it back to have the OEM CV joint replaced I voiced met concerns about the broken strut and the person at the front dest said that it could in fact be broken due to the CV joint issue, meaning it could be a results of their services and that they would get it fix/resolved and not to worry about it. Again, I got the car back withe a new CV joint but the same broken strut and my car still feels worse that the day I dropped it off to be fixed at Midas a month prior. I honestly don't know what to do as it feels like Midas is clueless and Doesn't want to take responsibility for the broken strut caused by the service they provided. My car still feels rough and gets worse everyday and I am just conserving taking it to a new place and paying more as I feel Midas won't be able to fix it. The people who work at Midas seem nice but I do not recommend them as all as it feels like they don't know what they are doing, at least with Subaru's...maybe they are more competent with other brands. If anyone has any advice on how to resolve this I would greatly appreciate it and Midas....if you reach out and find as way to resolve this and wrk with me I will update that review as I know mistakes are made and I respect when people / businesses take responsibility for their mistakes. read more

I did call into the dispute center 2Xs, and had an incident created(4310188). That was 30 hours ago, and still NO call. We have a vehicle we dropped major cash into for repairs that were not needed, and we still dont have a driveable vehicle. This is an urgent issue, and the lack of response is sending the message nobody cares that our vehicle was damaged, or that we are stuck in liimbo with no transportation, since the car cannot be driven safely. We brought in a driveable car, and left with a still inoperable vehicle. read more

Sent my daughter for just an oil change. They came out and said she needed an oil filter, so she agreed. Later they came back and said it was put on too tight ( mind you, they put the previous one on) and if they broke it while taking off, SHE would have to pay $1400.00 to fix it!!! What the heck kind of place is this?? It did not break, but I wouldn't trust anyone at this business. Way to take advantage of women, i can almost guarantee they would never pull this on any man that walked in. read more

We were coming in from Out of state and had called to make an appointment several days ahead (to make sure they would do the mud flaps along with the oil change). I was told that they could do it and would just charge for the labor + oil change. We arrived for the appointment and some very crabby old guy came in (no greeting at all) and said "we're not a body shop" he didn't even try to understand the situation and how we had already talked to someone. Then when we said we were just going to go somewhere else he said he'd just charge us for an hours worth of work. Not even see how long it would actually take to install them AND there were no other customers at all AND it was 3:00 in the afternoon. We went somewhere else and they were done in less than 20 min. read more

As a single woman traveling alone through Ohio with mysterious engine noises, I sought out this Midas dealer. The owner checked out my car in a matter of minutes, assured me nothing was to prevent me from continuing on and charged me nothing! The service was thorough,respectful and if I lived closer I would bring my car to this Midas dealer on a regular basis. read more
