Upon checking in and waiting about 20 minutes, Joe ,PA, came in and looked and immediately identified her problem(stone in her gums, and prescribed medication to address her pain and swelling. He also said the first weekday, an ENT doctor will be referred for a visit. I was pleased with the care and most importantly, the quick diagnosis Joe reached. Since we are snowbirds, our primary doctors are South and I would recommend this establishment if in a pinch. Addendum: Joe diagnosed the source and prescribed an effective antibiotic but we never heard back with an ENT referral.

Once I filled out paperwork, I was immediately brought into the emergency area, where I met the nurses, and soon after that the P.A. on call that evening, all of whom were referred to on a first-name basis (who does that in a hospital emergency room?). Let me just say it was a bit surreal - but in the best way possible - that I immediately felt at home, and at ease, even though I was going through an episode. I still get choked up thinking about the amazing, caring experience I had there. When I left, I literally gave hugs to the two nurses and P.A. that tended to me (Molly, Chris and Josh - you all freakin' rock, man), and I felt like I had made friends for life in a little over 3 hours (and next time I'm up your way I'm gonna take you all out to dinner to show my gratitude!) After getting through all of this, it gives me hope that there are still good, kind, caring people out there in this world, and that healthcare *can* be a good experience when people love their jobs and where they work. They are not big on Doctors, but will come when forced. Have have an ER, urgent care, and clinic. They also have an Long term care skilled rehab center on site as well an professional building that house many specialists. I spent the night here once when I was five years old or so. I swallowed a penny (I was very orally fixated) and it got stuck in my throat. I had to have surgery and then I pooped it out about 2 weeks later. Nice!

I had a 3 minute wait in the lobby, and a one minute wait in the exam room until I was seen by a very patient, kind, well spoken staff member (I am sooo sorry that I can't remember his name). I was in and out the door, in less than 18 min, with my prescription called to CVS. Now, what REALLY surprised and impressed me? I received a follow up phone call 2 days later checking to make sure that I was feeling better and that the prescription was working to alleviate my symptoms. Wow! They accept a bunch of different kinds of insurance, which is great in a pinch.

Also there were big signs everywhere saying nobody could enter except the patient. Guess what. They let in anybody and everybody Not one person had a mask. Disgusting.
