As a sellers agent, did more to accommodate potential buyer in negotiating process. Also, some of our personal property went missing just prior to closing. Just a horrible experience and it didn't have to be. We often said, we'd keep it on the market for a potential better offer. He just seemed to be more interested in selling at any cost then our needs and desires. On the plus side, when he was able to make time to show homes he was good at that and so as a buyer Agent very good.

My husband and I drove over 12 hours one way a couple times a week to find the perfect home. While not knowing anyone or anything about the area. We were blessed meeting Scott Mertz. He would drop everything to help us find our perfect home. After seeing tons of homes, we finally found one that we loved. Being trepidatious about the area, I didn't want to put an offer down before viewing it again. The home went under contract and we were devastated. But Scott never gave up he kept showing us homes and kept our hopes up the entire time. Because of Scott's diligence he saw that the contract fell through and got us in the see the home right away. After seeing the home again we placed an offer and now are living in our beautiful new home. Scott showed us so much kindness and dedication to finding our first home in a new place miles and miles away from everyone and everything we know. Because of Scott we did not feel so alone and helpless. If you are in the market for a real estate agent look no further because Scott is just the agent you want and need. Thank you again Scott for everything you have done for our family! God truly blessed us when we met you.

Was told that their guy (Rex) tried calling us, but had the wrong number. They gave me Rex's cell #, so I called him to find out what was going on. He said he was out to our house, but didn't think it was the right house because (a) he saw that we currently have HVAC (b) there were vehicles in our driveway and (c) he couldn't find the house number. Side note: There is an address marker at the edge of our driveway near the street. He said he sat in our driveway and tried to call us, but had the wrong number. So he left. Never came to the door and knocked to see if it was the right place. He simply left. He then asked if I wanted to reschedule for the next day. Absolutely not. I then called back to the main office to see if they had anyone else available to come out. They didn't. The lady I spoke with also didn't seem to be the least bit concerned with the fact that they just lost a job because of pure laziness. I'm looking to do a full HVAC replacement and upgrade. If their employees are too lazy to get out of their car and knock on my door, then I don't want them going anywhere near my HVAC. I'll happily give this project and my money to literally anyone who is motivated enough to get out of their car and knock on my door. That's how low the bar is and Rex still couldn't clear it.
