From the Business

Specialties

Our kickball league is for adults 21 and older. We foster a community for adults to network, make new friends, get out and have a good time, while exercising and being active. Our BYOB league is all about having a good time and letting lose.

History

Established in 2016.

The husband and wife owners met playing kickball in 2009 in St. Louis. When relocating to Columbia, MO they found there was no comparable adult kickball league in the city. The community and tight knit friendships they had in the other league are what fosters this league. Since 2016 the league has grown in popularity and now offers kickball tournament fundraisers and corporate events for team building.

Meet the Business Owner: Adriana and Louis N.

Our names are Adriana and Louis Nieman and we are the owners of Mid-Missouri Kickball League. I (Adriana) grew up in Columbia and know what a great place it is to live. I went to college in St. Louis and made a lot of friends while playing the kids game of kickball. In fact, it was a life changing experience for me because I met my husband while playing kickball. Heck we love the sport so much we played a game with our wedding party on our wedding day... we have some fun pictures! When our family came along we were thrilled to come home to Mid Missouri. Having enjoyed playing kickball for seven years we wanted to continue to enjoy our hobby. However, we learned there was no adult kickball league in Columbia; so we decided to form one to create opportunities for fun, laughter and fitness. Our goal is to foster an outlet for adults to get out and meet new people. We would LOVE to have you come out and enjoy this pastime with us!

This league is SO much fun! I'm so glad I found out about MMK - it's better than any other team sport I've played. I especially like how captains invite their team by their email and everyone pays from their own invite. That way as a captain, I don't have to hunt down my team's payments which makes it so much easier. I highly recommend!!! read more
