Over 1 hour 15 min late! Two buses were reserved well in advance for a school field trip by the…read moreschool district. One showed up 15 min late, the second was 1 hr 15 minutes late. ~100 kids age 10-12 plus teachers & parent chaperones got up at 3 am, left standing outside waiting for over an hour?! Strongly do not recommend for future company or any other trips. Words can't express how disappointed I am, the school district should be refunded to partially make this right. Edit: When the bus finally showed up I was talking to the A & A Motorcoach guy because he just randomly started loading stuff without asking, some of which shouldn't have been loaded. He was super testy, told me they were supposed to be there at 4:45 and started trying to argue with me about the time. Never once apologized for being late and was super rude. Even though that wasn't true, it would still have them at 50 minutes late! Then he asked who is in charge here and stormed off to find "the person in charge" when I told him I wasn't that person. Well, it's my tax money that went towards A & A Motorcoach being 1 hr 15 min late and possibly making my kid +100 others miss their 8:30 am start science activity in Seattle. These kids have been raising money for this trip for the past 9 months! When you're incredibly late and have over 100 children waiting on you at least have some common courtesy and customer service.

The tour was about 1.3 hours long, and you'll need to climb and descend stairs and squeeze into small spaces. If any of that sounds like a challenge, it might not be the right fit for you. Our tour guide was "BRAD," and he was amazing! He's practically "been there, done that." He grew up exploring these tunnels with his friends and has all sorts of stories to share. You'll learn a lot about the history and some simple sayings that will make you laugh and give you a deeper understanding. For example, there's a "Shoot" of whiskey! From the outside, you have no idea how huge this place is, and we only get to see a small part. Don't miss out if you get the chance. We'd definitely go back and bring a friend who hasn't seen it before.

The price of the ticket included a free drink token, 3 shots during the tour, and a sample of a local meat company. Matt told us the history while making it fun throughout the whole 2 hour tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to add a little bit more fun to the tour.

On a weekend getaway filled with celebrations, we spent an entire Saturday touring not one, not…read moretwo, but five wineries and had it not been for Freddy Gs who knows where we'd have gone. We were lucky to have been paired up with Jose who drove us from one to the next on a perfectly selected bunch of wineries that were all different and equally as fantastic. Our group is no quiet bunch that has a good time, so Jose was fun and fit right in. He is from the area and gave good insight on other wineries to check out after our tour was over, restaurants and eateries in the area, local hot spots...when in doubt ask Jose. Before we set off on the grand tour, he greeted us promptly with two bottles of wine that we saved for later. There were 7 of us and we all were comfortable in the van that was provided. For our day out, we made several stops that included: Walla Walla Vintners - The vineyard and landscape is cozy and very comfortable. We were the only group there and got a really great conversation going about their wines and about a couple of other places to try out. The interior is beautiful with stained barn doors and paneled windows. For the wines...don't be afraid to go back and forth. I did a taste test without knowing which wine was which and wound up enjoying a wine that was completely unexpected. I loved that this was encouraged. They want you to drink what is perfect for your palette. Tranche - This is a very modern winery with beautiful art scattered around. Had it been a warmer day and the back doors opened into a courtyard overlooking the vines it would be have been perfect. They have a variety of lighter bodied wines, so if you're looking for a blush. Alluve - Interesting backstory of the couple who served in the Air Force, it's a very small tasting room at the top of their Italian themed villa. The landscaping was beautiful, but the story on the property is well worth a listen to. Amavi - Two words. Vintage Chevy. Be prepared to pay upfront for your wine tasting here and be given a token to be used when you purchase wine later. The winery itself is very spacious and offers gorgeous views. We had a personal tasting with the owner who walked us through their wines as well as the history of the winery and he offered to take a picture of us in an old vintage Chevrolet truck on the property. We took full advantage and absolutely wanted Jose to be part of that picture because he had been such a great guide for the entire day. Castillo de Feliciana Vineyard and Winery - This winery, and the experience of it is why we are thankful for Freddy G's service. We made this our last stop (that's a lot of wine tasting!) and it was the best recommendation on the fly. We turned to Jose and asked about a winery with bubbles and he was immediate in responding. His knowledge of the wineries, and his personal taste came right into play and it was outstanding. The winery is basically a Spanish villa and utterly adorable. There was only one person working and she was busy, but don't let that discourage, she was well aware of who was coming and going and did not forget anyone during their tasting. Because there's some driving involved getting from one place to the next, we bypassed wasting any time for ourselves and took up a great recommendation from Jose and from one of the wineries had him pick up some lunch for us from a delicious lunch spot called Graze. Yum, the food hit the spot and held us over until we parked it on the next tasting. Working with Freddy to get the logistics prepared for the wineries and then having Jose made for a great first time outing in Walla Walla. We had great communication and it was a smooth and easy process and the overall service provided was above and beyond. I highly recommend as wine tasting can be daunting in a very spread out region, this took the stress out of trying to figure out what winery to go to when there's well over 160 to choose from. Thank you for a memorable trip!

The walk down Main Street called out landmarks, both the ones of usual history and the long tradition of madams and prostitution in Walla Walla. The architecture is fabulous. The luncheon in the Kirkman House included a docent dressed as Mr. Kirkman. Learning that Walla Walla was the center of a county that included all of Idaho, part of Montana and two thirds of Washington just after Oregon became a state made clear that Walla Walla was special. Back on Main Street, we made stops at the Walla Walla Bread Co and Wingman Birdz and Brews. Then down a side street to the Colville Street Patisserie for gelato. We finished with a casual wine tasting at Henry Earl Estates tasting room. The group size is kept to 10 or less. The banter is fun. The best part of the tour were our guides who made it all come together.

I have a 4 & 6 year old and they were entertained the whole time! It was a breath of fresh air for all of us. Our adventure started with eye smiles being greeted by the friendliest staff! They had customized sign for myself and the family. our fire pit and carriage ride were ready! We were able to leave our s'more fixings and hot cocoa at our reserved fire pit. They provided complimentary hot cocoa. There was wine, organic soaps, Christmas wreaths and Christmas trees all available at a very low cost. The carriage ride was spectacular! We brought a blanket along because it can get very cold, but nothing unbearable. We were able to see the wide open views. We could see Miles and miles of vineyards and wildlife. Our tour guide Suzy had so much knowledge and she was just so friendly. She gave stories about the surrounding lands and knowledge on winemaking. What a gem she is to the whole operation! Our carriage ride lasted about 25min and it was worth the $40 for the four of us. After our carriage ride we were able to settle down right next to the coziest fire pit. We had chairs and tables provided for our belongs. Wood would brought to us constantly and we were checked on frequently. Bathrooms were available and were able to sit there over an hour. I would Definitely recommend this one of a kind experience! We will be back and I look forward to supporting this small business! Tips: bring s'more fixings, sticks to toast marshmallows water, hot coco hot dogs/snacks! Parking is very convenient! We were able to get whatever we needed from the suv for snacks, blankets, hand sanitizer, baby wipes! Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy! Merry Christmas!
