Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by this place after reading the reviews. I came here on a…read moreWednesday night as I was staying in town for work. I was exhausted so I didn't really plan to leave my room once I checked in. I arrived around 430pm and was greeted by the nice woman at the counter. She quickly checked me in and offered me two waters. She directed me to my room which was down the hall. The lobby was spacious and clean. It was organized, but not overcrowded. They had a little convenience store that you could make purchases at as well as conference rooms on the left. They also had a small gym on the first floor, not far from where I was staying. I checked in and went directly to my room. The temperature in the room was great. I usually will walk into an ice bucket so I was grateful this was not that. I set up my computer and started to work some more. The room was clean, well lit, and quiet. Even though I was right next to the parking lot, I barely heard a thing. I ordered door dash & the front desk called me to let me know it was there. They provided silverware when I needed it to. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars was because one of the towels was a little dirty (could have just been permanently stained), the shelf in the shower also had dirt on it, and breakfast in the morning was eh. If they fixed those few things, I think this place would easy be a 5 star stay in the villages for me.

So I came back to the hotel at around 2am and the front doors were closed with a security sign that…read morestates for security use the reader on the left where there was none then on the right was a reader and did not activate with my room key. There was a phone there to call the front desk which I did and the doors opened. The woman who was at the front counter was very rude and unprofessional. I engaged in conversation with her about my experience at the front door and asked her if it was me or the signs did not make sense. As I was talking to her and being that I use hand jesters when talking she states don't point your finger at me. I was like I never pointed my finger at her but was just animated with hand jesters in talking with her but she just came out rude in the way she she told me as a guest at the hotel not to point a finger at her which I would never do and I was not in anyway accusing her of anything but literally having a conversation with her. She got up in arms like I was pointing a finger at her and I told her I did not in anyway point a finger directly at her personally. Well let me tell you she insisted that I did and that did not sit well with me because I am not that kind of person. I don't know if she was angry because I woke her out of her nap or what ever but it was in no way to treat a paying guest of the hotel. Please council this night attendant on how to engage with guests as I found that very unprofessional way to interact with a guest who was just having conversation. Again I was taken aback when she said don't point your finger at me when I was just engaging in conversation with her I'm not an accusatory manner but for her to accuse me of something I did not do perturbed and in sensed me to a point that I just had to walk away and stew in anger as the way I was accused.

Came into town for a funeral and this was the closest location. We are Bonvoy members and imagined…read morethis Marriott would be decent. Um...it was far from decent to say the least. It needs to be totally gutted and refurbished. Looks like they tried to do some cheap upgrades but failed miserably. The furniture is old and uncomfortable, the kitchenette area is outdated and dingy, and the bathroom looks 50'years old. Our water leaks continuously in the tub. Towels are thin and cheap, pillows are thin and cheap as well as the toilet paper!! Wanted to enjoy some R&R by the very sub par pool and boy was that dirty too! Bugs all over the top and it looks as though it hasn't been skimmed in a month or two. The pool towels are as large as a hand towel at best and are the thinnest fabric ever. We asked at the desk and were met with a shrug of the shoulders and "I'll check on it." Do not stay here for any reason. It's not worth even half the price you'll pay. I have never written an awful review for any business or service.

Although the whole place could use some updating the things that matter most, comfy bed and breakfast with hot coffee delivered. It has a decent pool, small gym and nice surroundings. Checkin was fine at 115 AM. Would I return here? If in this immediate area I think I would. Overlook a few things and you should be fine.

We stayed here for a week during Thanksgiving and before Christmas. My father -n -law bought us our…read morerooms through Expedia. We had a 4th floor room with a water view. The rooms are pretty basic and could use an update but you can't beat the location and view. They do have a restaurant downstairs but they don't serve breakfast. There's a pool, hot tub and exercise room on site. The front desk staff are super nice and helpful. I liked all the text updates they send. The front desk even called us to check on how we were doing mid week. My only complaint is that the walls are extremely thin. Luckily it seems that most the patrons seem to sleep early.

There isn't a complimentary breakfast, which would greatly improve the hotel amenities. The hotel has very friendly & accommodating staff. The hotel's lobby, restaurant and pool/hot tub are all very nice. However, the rooms are SO outdated! Especially disappointing for the nightly $$$. Even the suites weren't updated. They appear to have an old design and don't think they have ever been updated! Our room didn't have any clothes dressers, so we lived out of our suitcases. The bathroom had a nice large mirror and the shower water pressure was wonderful with a double headed shower-head. However, the bathroom didn't have a bathtub or a bathroom fan, so the bathroom gets extremely foggy when taking a shower. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom has a very low wattage bulb, so you can't see very well when using it. In summary, the hotel is in a good location, nice pool & hot tub, good Caribbean food in the restaurant and friendly staff. For the cons, outdated rooms without dressers, no bathroom fan, & no breakfast served onsite.
