Got a notification that it was time for a battery change for my iPhone 6 - decided to look around…read morefor alternatives to the Apple store repair service as I refuse to splurge €100 on my phone while on a tight student budget. Telefoonstad was super easy to find in the middle of De Pijp and I stopped by a week ago to ask for their pricing. €35 for a battery change, and it would take about half an hour, they said. As I was in a rush I told them thanks and that I'd stop by another time.
I went there this afternoon, left my phone there for about an hour and a half before returning to pick it up and pay the small fee. It was slightly inconvenient that it had to take such a long time compared to what I had been told last week, but I understand that the amount of customers they have from day to day varies. As I picked my phone up they also told me they had replaced my screen protector which is two years old already, at no extra cost. That was a very cool thing of them to do, I think. There's an air bubble stuck in between the screen and the protector that's pretty annoying, but I guess that's not really a thing to complain about as it was all done for free (or included in the price I paid, perhaps).
All in all a pretty good place to fix your phone that I would recommend to friends as well.
