I was a bit horrified with the service in here. Bless my mother, she doesn't really have a clue about computers(although she makes out she does!) and our computer screen had broken. So we went into this computer shop and asked for some advice on whether we need a new lead for the back or a new screen. Well....whoever says service with a smile!!! This has got to be one of the worst computer repair shops i have ever visited. Very rude and abrupt staff way overpriced on most itemes took them nearly 2 weeks to sort a computer softwae fault just kept maling excuse after excuse decided to get laptop back with a scratch which they deny total waste of time not even worth a star. So, took 2 phones in that were damaged during a none-fault motorcycle accident, asked for a quote for both repaired for the insurance. He gave me a 'quote' (written on the back of a card), I agreed to the prices and due to needing my phones for work, I asked for them to be done. 1 could be done same day, one needed leaving with them and collecting the next day. Collected the 'same day' one to be told that it was going to be DOUBLE the 'quoted' price due to something to do with the screen that was fitted wasn't an original, so he smashed that one (it had broken glass but worked) getting it off and fitted a 2nd hand screen to it. Went in next day to collect my other, it was shown that the screen was working (appears to be 2nd hand again, bezel is an absolute mess!!), but battery was flat, was told I'd have to pay an extra £25 due to a camera issue. Got home, charged phone up (taking forever to charge) and tried to test the camera, it won't focus. So, I've spent nearly 200 quid for a crap looking Galaxy s3 and a crap looking and none working camera Galaxy s5. read more

I was in this shop to repair my laptop, and he was very friendly and honest person, my laptop was repair with 40 pound, which i was expecting much more than. the guy is expert and well qualified. i will recommend this shop to every 1 for repairs. read more

oh my god! this is the worst of the worst, most piss taking shop/shops i have ever been to in my life. that guy and his dodgy employees don't even deserve a business. i was looking to buy a laptop so i went in there to have a look what they had, they was selling a acer laptop looked quite good few scratches but it was only £160 and he gave me a bag with it so i thought it was a alright deal all they kept saying to me was it is a brilliant laptop no problem with it works perfectly fine so i bought it off him. i took it home and plugged it in really excited about my new laptop. i pressed the on button it didn't work i had to hold it in really hard for about 30 secs then it finally came on i then discovered the left click button did not work, i thought oh well its not too bad i can live with them little mistakes but no it got worse the charger sign at the bottom had a big red X on it so i clicked on it and it says consider replacing your battery i took it back to the shop he gave me a fitting for the end of my charger i took it home it still did not work then a couple of days later the charger stopped working i took it back again he gave me another fitting and said he'd order a new battery for me told me to come back Monday i went back and he didn't have it told me to come back on Friday so i did he still didn't have the battery told me to come back in two Weeks's went back in two weeks he had the battery i took it home plugged it in it was working the X sign had gone. i finally thought my problems had gone. but oh no about a week later the X came back again!!! i took it back to the shop he just gave me a new fitting for the charger once again just like the last times it worked for a few days then started braking, so i took it back again he wasn't in and the other guys that worked there told me to come back on Friday so i did he still wasn't in and then they told me he was ill and said to come back in 2 weeks i went back in two weeks he said he was not in we have to come back next monday/tuesday and he will be in we asked why cant he do i for us and he said he can't because he didn't sell it too us and he cant do anything about it only the one who sold it to us could so then he said just come back on a Monday or Tuesday in august and he'll be in and hes defiantly going to do it for us. i went back on the Monday as told but once again he was not in they said hes out of the country he wont be back until Friday but a couple off weeks before that they had told me he was ill so i said to him i thought he was ill then they said that they had never told me he was ill apparently there the only two that work there and they said that non of them had said it was ill and that i must have been mistaken? i know i wasn't they told me he was ill. the other man then said come in Monday he will definitely be here 100% he will be here and he is going to do the laptop for us asked him why can you not phone him and just ask him if you can give me the money back and he said that he cant ring him only he can ring them. anyway i walked past it today (Saturday) and saw him in the window so i went in to see if it was him and it was so i said to him i thought you wasn't not back until Monday then just satrtred shouting telling us to get out or he is going to phone the police we asked why and he said i have already done you 3 favors and give you new fittings so i don't want you stressing me out I've only just got back just get out of my shop take me to trading standards if they say i have to give you your money back i will give it you 100% just get out or i will phone the police then just started talking to his friend in a different language just completely ignoring me like i wasn't even there! i honestly cant believe that he believes he has done me a favour he must a real evil man. its cost me more money than its worth he already robbed me of £160 plus it costs me £3 a time to get there and now i have to phone trading standers that's going to cost me at least £2 a min!! also i have had to have days off to go because its always a week day they tell me to come i have had enough of them the piss out of me it was just lie after lie after excuse after excuse and now Ive been sat writing this for about a hour which is even more annoying :@ :@! i would not recommend anyone to go to this shop, it will be the biggest mistake you make trust me. and to you that gave it a 5* and put "people expect too much" no i expect what he tells me to be the truth not lies the ripping off cu*t! and he has not spoken tome with one bit of respect he is unfriendly and miserable they treated me like a piece of dirt like they was to good to be speaking to me. i have never been so annoyed at someone in my life! p.s he also owns the other computer shop acros the road the blue one called sana tech so yeh i don't reccomend that one either!! read more

DO NOT go to this shop. I took my phone here to be fixed, as the screen went blank, he charged me £35 to fix it and said come back tomorrow. when i went back the next day to collect it, i discovered that my memory card was missing out of it. I told the man that owns microcom, he went upstairs with my phone for 20 minutes whilst i was stood in the shop. He came back down and told me that when they took my phone apart, they didn't realise that my memory card was in it, and somehow they had snapped my memory card straight in half, one of the halfs was still stuck in my memory card slot. so i lost all my personal pictures etc that were saved on my memory card. He gave me a used blank memory card in place of mine that he had broken. I then took my phone home, and realised that the screen hadn't been put on properly, it was loose. the next day i was texting on my phone and all of a sudden, my screen went blank. I turned my phone off and on again to see if that would work, then a big light crack appered accross my screen. So i left work early and went back to Microcom and told him that my phone had stopped working again and that he hadnt put my screen on properly in the first place. He said that he didnt touch the front of the screen so its not his fault that it is loose, and that he had fixed my phone properly so i must of done something to it for it to break again! He also said come back in two hours and your phone will be fixed. I went back, he gave me my phone, it worked ok, but the screen was still loose. I told him and he said it must of been like that before you brought it, as he hasnt done that. Now i never dropped that phone, or mistreated it, the screen was never loose before i took it to him. I lost over 300 pictures, 12 videos and 600 songs. I took iot to be fixed, i got over charged for what needed doing, and it turned out to be even worse than it was before i took it there. AND i didn't get any of my money back. Dont go to this shop, you will get ripped off and very bad service. Now i have to get a new phone as they messed mine up. read more

I took my friends Sony Ericsson phone in for repair, as it would not charge up. Even without opening it up the man behind the counter said he knew what was wrong with it, as it was a common fault, refering to the broken charger block. He said £20 to repair it, so I agreed to have it done, I collected it two days later, it looked ok. But when I got it home, I found the Sim card missing. When I returned to the shop he dismissed my claim that is was in the phone to start with. There was £5.00 credit on it, and quite a few pictures from weddings etc. They have all been lost. I was not even offered the £5.00 back that was on the card. My friend said she put the £5.00 credit on, so he could test it afterwards. All he did do was give me another card which will need registering, she will probably lose her existing number, he told ME TO PHONE HIM on Monday to see if he has it in his workroom, but I don,t hold much hope, as he said there were hundreds of sim cards lying around. You would have thought he would have arranged to phone me, if he cared about his customers, not the other way round.My advice is avoid him like the plague, he does not deserve the custom. read more
