I walked in and still she didn't ask my name, just what do you want? I asked for an eyebrow wax and brow/ lash tint and she said we'll see. As she waxed my brows she kept saying how I REALLY needed this but didn't even do the top of my brow! Then she put the tint on my brows and lashes and never even asked if I'd had this done before, if I was uncomfortable or if my skin was hurting/ burning. The nail in the coffin for me was when she charged me $50.00 for a $35.00 service according to her own website! I have all of this black tint under my eyes like a football player! My husband asked me why I was crying and my daughter asked if I messed up my mascara. Bottom line... DO NOT have these services done by Regina and if you do go there VERIFY and AGREE to the price BEFORE you have any services done! I WAS RIPPED OFF!!! The only reason I even gave 1 star was because she answered the phone.

I talked to Cindy over the phone prior to meeting and she did things that no other person had done before, for example: sent a medical history form, a two-week prior to your appointment, after-care, and other documents for my own benefit. I made an appointment with Cindy and despite her busy schedule, she stayed after-hours because I drove three hours each way. Once I arrived, she was so kind, sensitive and felt like a mother. We chatted and discussed everything prior to even asking my permission if I wanted to proceed. After I agreed, she numbed the areas and said if you feel any pain at all, just make some noise and I will immediately stop. Cindy played my favorite singer's music and I relaxed. Once finished, I got up out of her chair and as I glanced into a mirror, I recognized myself for the first time in years. Cindy was unsure what was happening as I began to cry but it was a complete life-changing transformation. I know that there will be other appointments which I am glad to come back for, but most of all, I am deeply grateful for Cindy's talent, her genuine kindness, and sensitivity. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking paramedical scar camouflaging.

I've had facials, lash services, brow laminations, and nail services, and every treatment has been consistently top-notch. The team truly listens to what you're looking for and makes thoughtful recommendations based on your goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. The results have always exceeded my expectations. One thing that really stands out is how incredibly clean and hygienic the spa is. Cleanliness is extremely important to me, and this is easily one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest, I've visited in Virginia Beach. I'm originally from the NYC area, so I have very high expectations when it comes to service, professionalism, efficiency, and the overall experience, especially for the price. Marina Shores consistently delivers on all three. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about the quality of their work. If you're looking for a spa that provides outstanding service in an impeccably maintained environment, I highly recommend Marina Shores.

I was finally emailed it a week before the appointment and some of the instructions had specific guidelines to follow a month prior before the appointment. Also there was no prior consult before the appointment. Such as important questions if you take blood thinning medications. Which if you do microblading is not recommended. The question is on the clientele paperwork when you get to your first appt after putting down a $100 non refundable deposit. I was not offered any other services or if I wanted to rebook. It was like and in and out not expecting a return service. For the last appointment I showed up 30 min early. I rang the bell hoping to wait in the lobby with the AC, water and bathroom available. I instead waited in my car outside the business, no one came in or out but when I rang the bell closer to the appt time I was welcomed in. It was a bit insulting. Also the shading if you will notice in my photo isn't even on both brows even after a touch up. Now with the good. The establishment is beautiful. Kim follows all health codes and services were rendered and she was professional. She also offered to pay the extra time on my meter for the street parking. And I was made sure to be comfortable with a blanket if I got cold and a pillow under my legs for back pain. Kim has potential to be a great microblader but her technique and customer service need some more effort and work. Services were rendered, business was clean and sanitary.
