Terrible. No functional air conditioning. No hot water. Water leaking from water heater. No apologies just walking around no care in the world. Avoid petiod. read more

We stayed Saturday and Sunday night and had a blast with just my boyfriend and I. The location is absolutely beautiful. Our reservation had to be pushed back two weeks due to the pool having a leak so when we got there we had a wine basket full of goodies to apologize for the inconvenience. The owner came down on the first night to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did, and to show me how to turn all the lights on in the pool room and be able to play our music. There is a speaker system set up throughout the house and the pool room. We played our music loud because there are no neighbors close by to bother which is a plus. The kitchen had all cookware you could need and even the fridge was stocked with condiments you might need. We loved playing on the pool table and relaxing in the amazing electric recliner watching TV. We even received a call from Deanna after we left asking for feedback on how they could improve and make sure our stay was up to our expectations. We definitely plan on making a repeat visit and next time with a group. read more

The hotel itself needs a lot more attention when it comes to cleanliness. The carpets were dirty, there was trash both inside and outside the property, and the rooms are overdue for an update. One of the pillowcases even had mildew on it. I would definitely recommend wearing slippers because the floors were so dirty that your socks will likely turn black. The pool was also disappointing. It wasn't clean, and there were spiders everywhere around the property, so it definitely felt like pest control is needed. The reason I'm giving this hotel two stars instead of one is because they do offer complimentary breakfast, and the gym was decent. With better cleaning, updated rooms, and improved maintenance, this hotel could be a much better place to stay.

"The suite" air bnb is very nice , but when you run the water or take a shower it make a horribly unbearable smell that nothing makes go away and lingers badly. The main house upon arrival was a mess , and the inground pool was promised to be clean but was not. My recommendation for the owners would be to turn it into a coy pond and add rocks and plantation with fish. They do not keep the property as nice and well kept as it easily could be. Not sure why they don't take the extra time to fix the issues and make this venue and property as great as its potential beauty is.

I have never in all my years of camping been this dissatisfied with a campsite that I felt the need…read moreto leave a review. When my partner and I arrived, we actually loved the area. Unfortunately, the campers before us had left trash behind, but we looked past it and started setting up. I really should have taken that as a warning. As soon as we started blowing the leaves off the tent area, we noticed small, extremely fast-moving ants everywhere. These were not the typical little sugar ants you occasionally see while camping. They were aggressive, numerous, and seemed to spread everywhere. Our first night around 10 PM, I got up and noticed ants inside our tent and all over the zippers. When I went outside, they were EVERYWHERE, actively trying to get into the tent. We had granola with us, but it was in a completely sealed bag. The ants weren't just around the food either--they were covering our shoes, gear, cookware, and basically everything we had outside. My partner ended up driving 15 minutes to Walmart just to buy ant spray, and thankfully that helped for the night. Unfortunately, the next morning they were back. They were all over my partner's shoes, our bags, and our belongings again. We sprayed everything and tried to continue with the trip. Then around 5 PM, I went to the truck to grab something and discovered that the ants had gotten into the truck. And I don't mean that there were a few ants inside that you could simply smack or brush away. The truck was INFESTED. They were everywhere--on the wheels, steering wheel, inside the cab, in hidden compartments, throughout the truck bed, and all over our belongings. At that point, we packed up and left. I understand that camping comes with bugs, dirt, and wildlife. That is not what this review is about. We have camped for years and have never experienced anything remotely like this. The sheer number of ants and how quickly they spread from the campsite to our gear and eventually into our vehicle made the site completely unusable for us. The area itself was beautiful, which honestly made this experience even more disappointing. But unfortunately, we will not be returning.
