3.5 stars actually. The ambience is great, signs everywhere that remind me of home. No, I'm not Irish, I'm British. ;)
I just love those dark brown pubs with a mix of different tables and chairs all made of dark brown wood and this pub is no exception. We were here fairly early (10 pm) and most seats were filled with friends and couples relaxing and having a beer. Funny enough, most people enjoyed their own favourite size of beer rather than taking advantage of the happy hour deal which is small Heinekens for 1 euro, everyday after 10 pm.
Though the place wasn't packed, it was extremely loud and I had trouble hearing everything that was being said at our table. That was a bit annoying, but not O'Connells' fault.
