I have been a patient of Dr. Paul's since I was 15 years old. He was my endocrinologist during the time I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, through two radiation treatments, into remission, and beyond. He always listens, is patient, and takes the time to go over my extensive information during my annual visits. He truly is a genuine and good hearted man - you definitely get that vibe just from receiving treatment from him. My Mom was so impressed with our experience with him during my health issues that she became a patient of his later in her life. She passed away almost 4 years ago now, and to my surprise Dr. Paul attended the viewing we hosted in honor for her. He was never informed by our family or her other doctors - he simply saw the obituary in the newspaper and took the time to come and pay his respects. I did see other reviews and have not had experience with other doctors at the practice, but I highly recommend Dr. Paul! read more

Well, Yelp, this is a first for me. I've never written any sort of review for a medical office, because, truth be told, I used to find it a little bit odd. However, now that I've moved, and I am slowly trying to wrangle my A-team of medical professionals, with the daunting task of keeping Amanda E. in good running order, I find myself desperately trying to get suggestions on where to go. I am only in need of an endo on a semi-regular basis, so the amount of time that I am here is probably much less than some people, but the few occasions that I have been here thus far, I love it. There are a few docs, but the one chosen for my A-team is Dr. Sakharova... she is AWESOME. She is a fast-talking, sweet, and extremely knowledgeable Russian lady (I say this, because at first it was a little bit hard to understand her accent), that happens to also have a great shoe wardrobe. She is very thorough, and will definitely answer your questions, however it does seem a little rushed sometimes. That is to be expected with a specialist in an incredibly busy office though. There is one nurse there that kind of scares me, but everyone else is wonderful, especially my pals in the phlebotomy area. They see me coming from a mile away, and have their supplies waiting to be taken into one of the exam rooms so I can lay down while they suck my blood. Then I am offered a lovely snack of juice and a cookie or crackers. Not 5 star dining, but it will do when a girl is ready to fall face first onto the floor in a dramatic fainting scene, reminiscent of daytime television. read more

I am a patient of Dr Rosenblatt's and have been for several years. He is so kind and knowledgeable! He always takes the time to explain things, is available when I have questions and helps me and my family with complicated medical issues. Dr Rosenblatt literally saved my life. He was able to identify what was wrong with me when other endocrinologist could not. He communicated several times with my other doctors and when I was in the hospital took the extra time to be sure that the appropriate tests were completed and followed up on. He is an outstanding doctor! read more

Absolute scumbags. I had some blood work done and someone from the office calls me and rattles off a few numbers, tells me it's messed up and Rosenblatt says I need an MRI. I ask for an email copy of the results and she says they can't do that. I check on Beaumont's website and I need to wait days for a confirmation code. I went to bed thinking I had cancer. I ran over to his office first thing in the morning and demanded to see Rosenblatt. He refused to face me like a man and sent the office manager to deal with me. The office manager gave me a copy of the lab results. Apparently Rosenblatt panicked when he saw my ALT and AST enzymes were slightly high. I told him 4 times I lift weights. These enzymes are elevated in anyone that lifts weights. This is basic medical knowledge. I handed him a copy of my old blood work results that show the same thing. He didn't panic when he saw those results. If he was so concerned about slightly elevated liver enzymes that he though I needed a high priced MRI, why didn't he call me himself? He probably just barely glanced at both sets of results. This is someone that lacks basic medical knowledge, doesn't care about his patients, and isn't man enough to even talk to me when I show up. He's no doctor, and certainly no man. To add insult to injury, the office will not put my blood work results into the Beaumont online system despite the fact that this office in affiliated with Beaumont. read more

worst worst worst please do not go there if you have a choice - I saw Dr. Rosenblatt (slightly rude, very condescending) I was in the office for over 3 hours and he did not test me for the one condition for which I came there - also the office is very difficult to deal with - the phone system is frustrating, very hard to get a person on the phone - I just settled up my balance and am going to have to find another doctor and start over - waste of time read more

I called today to make an appointment as a new patient at the recommendation of my PCP because of an abnormal ultrasound and bloodwork. When I called the endocrine office I was told that I would need an insurance referral before they would schedule an appointment. I let her know that my PCP had told me that once I had the doctors name who I would be seeing and the appointment date they could get the referral going for me. The receptionist responded "that's how it normally works, but that's NOT how WE work". So I did as she demanded, and called my PCP and relayed the conversation. My PCP couldn't understand why the endocrine office receptionist was giving me a hard time. My PCP let me know that I would need the name of the doctor who I would be seeing in order to file the referral. So I again, called the endocrine office back and asked who I would be scheduling with so that my doctors office could submit the referral. The response I got was "tell them to date it April 1st. It's going to be months before I can get you in anyway". At that point I decided that this office is obviously not a good fit for me...or for anyone who is having a health concern. I work at a dental office and do what that girl does for a living. I would NEVER speak to a patient the way she spoke to me. I requested to make an appointment..thats it...and instead of being helpful she intentionally made it difficult for me...I'm just not sure why. As another reviewer stated, shame on this office for allowing their staff to treat people that way. read more

Ugh, I'm not a fan of giving one star reviews on yelp but I am so disgusted with this practice and with Dr. Rosenblatt in particular. I've been a patient for several years- I've never been thrilled with him, but he got the job done, even if I consistently waited at least 90 minutes to see him every time. The time comes to schedule my regular appt and I call and of course have to wait a month to get in, no biggie, in the mean time I was involved in a major car accident and of course the appt slipped my mind (it was the day after I was released from the hospital). Roll around to me realizing I was out of refills and it dawning on me I missed my appt. I call the office and am told I was discharged from the practice due to my one no show. No letter, no phone call, nothing. I explain to the receptionist what had happened and she said .. Well.. We can put it in review to see if he will accept you back. Really? No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere. I'm sure the patient who had the appt time after mine was thrilled she/he had to wait only 75 minutes to see him because I freed up some time on his schedule that day. While there aren't a ton of endos in this area, there are enough for me to see someone who actually cares about his patients. read more

I would not recommend Dr. Sakharova for endocrine issues. She saw me all of 5 minutes, and barely listened to my issues and did not seem to care that I have been struggling with thyroid related issues (fatigue, weight gain, cold body temp) for years. Her response to ongoing issues was "try weight watchers." No medical advice whatsoever. She ran blood work and did not even bother to call me with the results. Instead the office manager called me to let me know they'd run one more test. No additional info provided. After that test, never got a call. I called to follow-up, again, the office manager just told me "everything is fine." I said, "Don't I get to talk to the doctor?" "No you're all set." Crazy. Even with standard blood work the doctor calls to say everything looks fine. Even my vet does this! Then a $500 bill in the mail later I called to ask details of what this was for. Was told "Our doctors are specialists and each evaluation is very comprehensive." The doctor saw me 5 minutes and never spoke to me again.... if that is comprehensive, I'd hate to see what they consider a basic evaluation. read more

My son was a patient for several years. He had a change in insurance and was unable to continue as a patient, although he was in contact with the office during his insurance change (obamacare) He recently got new insurance through an employer and was anxious to get back to the office but was told he has been dismissed as a patient. DISMISSED! Shame on them..... read more

I have been going to see Dr. Sakharova at Michigan Endocrine for the last 5 years since i was diagnosed with diabetes. The practice and staff is wonderful - from the receptionists, assistants, etc. My cholesterol is way down and my sugars are under control. I am a happy camper! read more
