Specialties
Astrology is an invaluable tool for self-awareness, growth, and personal timing, and I am committed to providing my services to assist you in your development. I offer relationship coaching, life purpose and natal consultations in-person, via Skype and Zoom, and by phone. (Skype/phone sessions are recorded for you.)
Astrology, though firmly seated in modern therapeutic traditions, has its roots in divination, so I like to think it falls somewhere between the oracles of the ancient world and contemporary psychological counseling. By that, I mean there's vital craft and preparation going into a consultation, but also an element of the sacred that comes into play, a spark of the divine, when two people come together for a soulful conversation about life.
Such a conversation creates a space for something quite profound: When you spend an hour or so where the focus is solely on the circumstances of your life, your goals, and your habits, conscious and unconscious, you shift your attention from the busyness and distractions of the day and look inward. You begin asking larger questions. And from this modest genesis, healing, clarity, and insight can begin.
When you work with astrology's symbols, you can't help but be impressed by their ability to speak to the human condition, the cyclical nature of time, and the resonance of their meanings, which have developed, layer by layer, over thousands of years.
History
Established in 2006.
I began studying astrology in 1984. I limited myself to friends and family, until the late 90s when a friend of mine pushed me to start thinking of myself as a professional by creating an "astrology party," where I read for everyone in the room. (Thanks, Angela!) But it wasn't until 2006 that I began speaking at conferences and teaching astrology. And it was this year that I conceived Heavenly Writing Astrology.
