The care they provide the children in unmatched. I travel over a bridge each day to drop my little ones because I haven't found other places with equitable services. The communication is great. We use a Pro Care App and the teachers check in throughout the day. My 6 y.o. loves the summer camp and looks forward to going each day. 4 of the 5 days the children are out of the building, and they go swimming each week! The extra meal service is helpful so I don't have to worry about prep. The program provides trip shirts, so aside from her shorts I don't have to worry about wardrobe headaches. My daughter loved making new friends in camp. Last year we attempted another camp for a few weeks that was closer to home and quickly switched back because she hated it. For my youngest who is now 2, he too participated in the summer program. What I liked about his program is they have an awesome backyard and have outside water time daily (weather permitting). They also get to have inside gym time to keep their bodies active and moving. His bookbag was always full of activities he completed in school and my pro care communication app, always up to date showing me the fun activities he was engaging in. The best part for me, since I am always running is I could communicate with the staff when I was in transit so they could being to prep him for departure at the end of the day. As far as the cost, it's worth it and comparable to other programs that have infants and toddlers. The program we attempted in 2023 with my middle child was a bit more expensive, and just didn't work out for us. We will be back next year!

My son, " I enjoy going to the fun trips, the teachers, the food, the schedule they make for camp and recess and activities they do with the mat." Thank you for a great summer.

Teachers Cristina and Lorena are absolute angels put on earth! Our work days are long but these teachers work even longer !!! And every day they greeted us with such a calm happy attitude - wow!!!!' His smile and eagerness to get to school every morning was SUCH a pleasure and made dropping him off, for so many hours while we worked, completely stress free. If he was sick they took such great care of him until one of us could rush back from Manhattan to get him. The homemade meals made us feel so secure knowing his nutrition was beyond standard school food. We are now in the bigger kids location and he's adjusting well to the differences and Teacher Leila or Maribel greet him with a hug hug and kiss every morning and he goes right in with just a quick look and wave back at me. I can't tell you how relieved I am that they can still attend this school for Pre-k. We had initially planned to move him but after much anxiety at how cold the other schools feel we happily kept him here. His schoolwork is quite advanced and he knows the alphabet (reciting and writing it), numbers, colors, shapes, and they just had a little special trip to the firehouse ! Such a wonderful environment for any little one. We are blessed. A huge thank you to teacher Cristina and Lorena for all their love and devotion because he's this incredible little boy for having spent so much of the passed two years in their amazing class. Although I don't know when they get vacation because they seem to be always there !!! :) Semillitas all the way!

It was the most wonderful and perfect preschool for my son, and I'm very sure for everyone who enroled their childrens there. The teachers, and the owner are AMAZING!... and when I say that I MEAN IT ! All the personal there is the best you can find. My son was speaking only english but thanks to teacher Nancy, teacher Mary ( the childrens call her :) teacher Marybell ), and teacher Amada, he learn spanish so easy and in such a short time. Thanks to these teachers my son got in a special program "Dual Program" in Kindergarten. They are not only playing there, they also learn alot, ( letters, numbers, shapes, colors, songs, poems, plays, trips, crafts, everything your child need in order to be ready for kindergarden....and not to forget the food is good, yuuuumiiiii, ). The place is clean, warm, friendly atmosphere, a bunch of happy childrens,....also you can see a vide variety of books there, toys when is time to play, and so many more to be listed here. They were amazing knowing how to handle with my spoiled son behavior, witch was very hard for begining. The most important thing for all you parents, is COMUNICATION and don't be shy to work with these kind teachers there, ( and did I mentioned they are AMAZING...hehehe, I won't get tired mentioning this ) that's a very important thing "WOKING TOGETHER". Most of us approve with our childrens teachers but when we get home, some of us forget everything what was all about. As a matter of fact, preschool is the first step to get our childrens prepare for life. Also if you have time and possibility ask in what manner you can help your son school. You will discover that even the smartest parent have so much more to learn yet, and it's really fun and refreshing when at the end of every month your child is coming home with all hard effort he put on his daily work. I still keep them as a memory for when he will be an grown up to show it to him. It was a JOY and DELIGHT to have my son enroled in Semilitas Day Care Center. I will definitely recomanded for every parent who care for a real learning, education and future for their " little-young seeds- semillitas". THE BEST TEACHERS EVER and THE BEST PRESCHOOL EVER. A Pround and Thankful Parent, Gabriela C.

Though my children are quite different from each other, JHELC has been able to cater to their individual needs with ease. My daughter had a fantastic summer. The staff at ELC kept her inquisitive mind at work - she was tasked and happy, soaking up their weekly themed programming. They wore her out with playing too, which is not an easy feat. On the other hand, they have treated my son with a more gentle touch, working with him on communication - his greatest obstacle. His language skills have greatly improved since starting at JHELC & I know that's it's not because he's not being heard there - it's because he is. This review may seem a bit biased, but it's only because I have been so happy with my experiences at JHELC. My kids love the staff and I know that the staff genuinely and passionately care for them too. We are welcomed with open arms every day and my children are treated as individuals with unique needs and keys to learning. The staff is open to input and feedback, which is very important. The administration is hands on and always enthusiastically working to elevate the program.

After extensive research, and touring many programs, I decided on Fly High Butterfly and it was the best decision I could have made. My son's transition to daycare (after being home while dad and I worked remotely) was not an easy one. No matter how challenging his transition was Ms. Sarah poured her heart into him, and within a few weeks, morning drop-offs were so smooth. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Jennifer both care deeply for my son and all the kids that attend the daycare and it is evident on the happy faces of the children at dismissal. The one thing that parents hope for when entrusting their child to someone is that they will be cared for, loved and kept safe. I can assure you that Ms. Sarah exceeds those expectations. In addition to caring for the kids, Ms. Sarah also teaches. She makes sure that the students are growing academically. One marker of a great teacher is the conversations had with the students. My son has been exposed to so much and has learned so much during his time here. I would recommend Ms. Sarah to anyone in search of a trustworthy place.

They do lots of arts and crafts, lots of music, structured and unstructured play, and some practice with basics like the alphabet and the colors, etc. Ms. Sarah is responsive when we have a question or a concern, and she lets us know if she notices something we should be aware of. We sent my older daughter to one of the bigger daycares nearby when she was small, and we've been impressed by comparison with the care we have seen at Fly High Butterfly. The only challenge we've had here is that, because it's such a small operation, they can occasionally have staffing challenges if multiple staff get sick, but that has only happened twice in the 2+ years we've been there. We are very happy to have found Fly High Butterfly and very grateful for how they have cared for our daughter.
