Our family has trusted Michele and staff for nearly a decade for our tax preparation and filing. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and welcoming at every part of the process. Michele is well-organized and always prepares questionnaires prior to submitting your filing documents. She is competitively priced compared to chains and adds a sense familiarity that comforts her clients who are trusting her and the staff with sensitive information. I would recommend Michele R Davis CPA and her staff to anyone seeking to avail themselves of financial service with no reservation! read more

Not many CPAs in the Beckley area have websites, and out of the ones that do, Mr. Shepherd's was the most professional. I contacted his office and spoke with him over the phone to "interview" him to see if I felt comfortable having him manage my taxes. He was straight-forward and knowledgeable and won me over. Two weeks later we sat down for a meeting in his office and he answered every question I had. Less than two weeks after that he had completed my (out-of-state) return and federal return. I am very happy overall and look forward to working with him again.

However, I cannot say the same for cleaning on the inside of my house. I recently booked an interior cleaning with Kim on a specific date. As the day of the cleaning approached, neither she nor Shawn called to confirm the appointment, and neither would return my multiple calls and texts. I was in a desperate situation to have my Airbnb cleaned for the next scheduled guest booking. Kim and Shawn's failure to communicate forced me to desperately find a more reliable cleaning service in time before the guests arrived. I was on the other side of the country at the time, so this further inconvenienced me, and it was an extremely stressful situation.

I have historically had massive reservations on discussing my intimate personal life with people, and I resisted people like Louis. Louis started out by having a couple of conversations with me 1 on 1. We didn't even talk about my problems, at least he didn't try to. And not too long after, I blurted out what was really on my heart. Louis is a fantastic listener and loves to explore the nuance of what you're saying. He'll dig deep and he knows how to not only understand you, but help YOU understand you. Louis has a very refreshing blend of practical reality and spiritualism, combining them to be able to see most views of the relationship spectrum. Louis tells it like it is, and truly believes in the very heart of hearts of self-health. If you want someone who listens to you, can give you practical and spiritual direction, and is an overall great guy, Louis Morris Coaching is the place to go. I am very grateful to Louis for the work we did together and feel stronger as a result.
