Although the hobby shop itself is deceptively small, they have a pretty large selection of RC cars and parts, as well as RC aircraft, model cars and model rockets. There are several aisles of model train accessories, scenery, train sets and tracks of several different scale types. The prices seemed in line/a tad higher than most places I've shopped. They had an area with Thomas trains and a small end cap with a Thomas wooden train set kept my youngest occupied while we checked out the rest of their offering. They had a couple aisles of models - ships, military planes, cars etc., rocket sets, RC cars, supplies like paint and tools and some games like Warhammer which I'm not familiar with at all. I enjoyed stepping back in time while I walked around and love it that small operations like this are still around. We bought some Thomas items that were fairly priced and are happy with them. Inc./English's Model Railroad (Toy Train Heaven), including trolley poles that were listed on sale. I was charged and received tracking information, but USPS shows the package was never accepted. After contacting them, I was told they would look into it and resend what they could. The replacement shipment arrived, but the trolley poles were missing, along with another item. I wasn't charged for either. One item was missing but they listed it on the new invoice and attempted to fill it, while the trolley poles were missing from the new invoice. The concerning part is that the exact same trolley pole SKU is still listed on their website at $20. I was also told on the phone that the item was no longer available, but when I pointed out that it was still listed, I was refused an explanation and the call was ended. Other customers apparently had their pole orders cancelled, while mine was simply left unresolved. No one contacted me to explain what I would or wouldn't receive. Had I known, I wouldn't have had the rest of the order shipped--and I also lost the opportunity to purchase a Brill body I wanted. Pricing mistakes happen. I wouldn't have made an issue of that. What bothers me is the lack of communication and transparency. I've attached documentation supporting the timeline and what happened, aside from the phone call, which I did not record.
