She took care of all the details (never would have known to use a stager or whom to call!) and a professional photographer. Needless to say we had an offer two days after hitting the market! She carried the same knowledge and professionalism to the build of our new home. She had no issues talking to the builder regarding status of I didn't feel they were communicating enough. I found it super helpful that #1 Melissa lives in the area and was familiar with the market here, and #2.when the stress of buying or selling any home was affecting me she was still calm and focused! I've had friends in the area have some not so great experiences with their realtor - that was definitely not the case for us. Melissa had assisted a friend of ours in purchasing their first home, and we had heard such great things about her that we decided to trust her to handle our sale. As a born & raised Austonian, she KNOWS Austin real estate . Alot of agents move to Austin because it's such a great town for real estate, but then they don't know the market like a true Austin born/bred agent. Bridget has been here all her life and has years of experience in the field. We are picky people on who we choose because we've bought/sold alot of real estate. I felt she did an outstanding job and would use her again. Bridget is also very knowledgable about all surrounding areas, such as Buda, Kyle, Spicewood & Lakeway. She's worked with some of the best top real estate professionals and therefore has gained alot of knowledge in the field, and has clients in all price ranges. Thanks Bridget again!!

I own a house now that I LOVE!…read more Even though I own a business, I was a first time home buyer, so everything was new and confusing. But my agent, Mishell Kneeland, was able to make everything clear -- she went above and beyond in working with my schedule (I have a small child and I own a restaurant, so I work hours that are not the same as the bank/mortgage people, title companies, etc.), understanding my taste, and dealing with every aspect of the negotiations, so I didn't have to. Sometimes I would change my mind about what I wanted -- some days I felt like I wanted modern and new, and sometimes more traditional. Mishell happily showed me both kinds of houses, was patient when I wasn't sure, and never made me feel like she just wanted to sell me something to be finished. I felt confident knowing that Mishell would work hard to get me the best house for my family and always protect my interests through every step. And even though I had to be the one to ultimately make the decisions about what houses to make offers on, Mishell offered opinions when I needed them that were based on her experience and how well she learned me and my needs. She also looked at the long term for each property we looked at and I know she'll be there for me if I need her in the future. My financial situation was probably difficult, as I own a new business, so didn't even have two years tax returns. Mishell found me a lender that was willing to work with my unusual situation, and made it work. I absolutely would recommend Moxie Realty to all my friends (and HAVE to my mother, a former real eastate agent herself, who is now using them). And you should use them, too!

Did not come and look at the house even once until the night before it went up on MLS. We sold our home quickly-1 weekend. We asked them to find a home for us to buy while we prepared our home for sale. Moxie realty was unable to find one home to show us during the entire contract period which was over a month. When my husband and I found a home for sale on our own during the weekend our home went on sale, our moxie realtor could not bother herself to show it to us as she was on vacation over the weekend. Yes, you read that right. She went on vacation the day our home went on the MLS. She was too busy to arrange for someone in her company to show it to us. Additionally, when we brought to her a home we found on our own, she put in an offer on our behalf. Unfortunately, she screwed up and stated it was a va loan instead of a conventional loan. In a sellers market, va loans are not competitive as they require more stringent inspections. We lost out on this home even though we were the highest bidder. The broker stated that we didn't lose out because of the Moxie realtor, but because the other bidder knew the selling agent. The best part of this whole fun fest was when the owner/broker yelled at me when we told her we would not be repairing anything on the home we sold since we had 2 backup offers and it was a sellers market. Our garage door stopped working during the weekend we sold our home. Instead of representing our interests and backing up our decision, she raised her voice and berated us as she thought the deal would fall through. We forwarded a tape of her interaction with us where she raised her voice to a competitive company who now uses this as an educational tool on what not to do to your client- Their annual Ethics class. The broker/owner offered me $4k to sign a nda-non disclosure agreement to keep my mouth shut on their horrible business ethics, but decided my freedom of speech was worth more. If you want a great realtor, contact Tara Biesboer in New Braunfels. She helped us find our current home and executed the purchase without any problems. Avoid Moxie Realty at all cost.

Jeannie is wonderful!!!…read more I was very particular when selecting a realtor to purchase my second home and sell my first, as I had purchased my first home without a realtor, and was already pretty involved in searching for neighborhoods and houses on my own. I interviewed several realtors, and found Jeannie to be one of the only realtors who impressed me with her organization, reliability, experience, and initial thoughts about selling my house. The other great quality is that she is still laid back, and really personable. I found Jeannie randomly and called her out of the blue because I saw her sign in front of a couple of houses in my neighborhood that had recently sold. Jeannie met with me initially and answered several questions I had about what services she would provide to me as a seller's agent for my home and as my buyer's agent. She was very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods I was looking at (central and east austin), and was super flexible and available to show me houses when I was available. Two things that most impressed me about Jeannie is that she was a tough negotiator, and was super helpful in guiding me on repairs that were going to need to be done to my new home. I was looking for a home that needed a bit of renovation, and she was great in differentiating the big-dollar problems from the small-dollar ones. She also had a team of contractors and handymen that were available (and reasonable) to help me get my house ready for sale and help me start work on my new house. Jeannie overall is great to work with and a great realtor, and I would recommend her to anyone!

I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia on referral from my sister who spoke highly of her and…read moreso I decided to give her a try. Cynthia was absolutely fantastic to work with, start to finish. She listened and learned what my preferences were in home features, location, and budget and helped guide me to options that I was able to review. She stayed on top of things even when I was abroad in London for 6 months and sent me some options and kept me in the loop. She even Facetimed with me to provide me virtual views of homes while I was away! When I decided to put the search on pause until I got back to the States, she completely understood and respected that and didn't pressure me at all. When I got back to the States and picked back up on house-hunting on fast-forward speeds, things got a little hairy on my end where I was getting frustrated with losing out on bids or finding homes with too many issues. I had to leave yet again to go abroad and had about a little less than 1.5 months to find a home before I left again. I definitely took out my frustrations on her and got testy and grumpy (and yelly and angry and batshit) with her, but she never once reacted equally. She was always the consummate professional and was sympathetic with my plight of being a nomad for so long. When I finally got a house, she made sure she was on top of all the details to expedite the process as much as she could. She followed up on all the paperwork and action items, and made sure it was arranged for my sister to have power of attorney to handle the final transaction. The house closed, my sister got the keys, and Cynthia was a sweetheart and left me flowers, a bottle of champagne, and a kind note congratulating me on getting the home after a long and arduous search. After this wonderful experience with Cynthia, I cannot say enough good things about her. She's sweet, honest, sympathetic, patient, hilarious, and down-to-earth. I'll happily refer her to anyone in the market for buying or selling a home!

She did not provide good suggestions during negotiations with the buyers - instead pressuring me to accept the offer with mixed messages that the market was changing, that all the other Relators were seeing the same thing, and that leaving my house on the market for 7 days would be a problem. She did not provide independent advice about the offer or the market - just said I should accept it and that I should listen to her professional advice. She seemed annoyed when I asked for more information. Closing almost didn't happen because she waited to work with the title company to get my loan payoff info until Friday at 430, for a Monday closing. Can't recommend. I LOVE, LOVE where I live and it is all because of Jane…read more In full disclosure, Jane and I used to work together in a past life and since moved on to new professions. When I heard she became a Realtor, I had total confidence that she was the perfect Realtor for me, because she is smart, tough and a lot of fun. Jane bent over backwards to make things happen and when I became overwhelmed, unsure or just flat out panicked, she always had great advice and made sure we didn't go down the wrong path. She quickly picked up on my likes/dislikes, so every time we went looking at places, she was quickly able to rule out what she knew we wouldn't like, therefore making the looking process pretty painless. The end result was the perfect house for us, and it was on the lower end of our price range. For that, I will always be grateful.

When I was ready to buy, Jane went and previewed a TON of houses for me in two days. Seriously, I think she looked at over 20 houses in two days. There was one that she really thought would be right up my alley. We set out to look at 8 houses that day, going to that one last. Jane knows me pretty well, because when we walked in, my knees buckled. I knew it was my house. We had an offer on it that night, they countered (barely) and I accepted by 9AM the next day. Jane made the process of buying my home flat-out easy, and I couldn't be any happier with my new place. Of course, when I'm ready to sell and find my next perfect place, I'll be calling Jane to list this one and help me find a new one!
