Washinski was my doctor for years. I thought the Indian hospital psychiatrist was bad. Washinski is way worse. First of all. When I had an appointment I paid cash and it's $175 for about ten minutes. He won't talk to you or take your calls unless you pay that $175. When you call for refills it takes days for him to send it In. Even when it's for anxiety. And I have bad anxiety and depression. All he has to do is call it in. I've waited days. I've racked up so many ER visits because of anxiety and also withdrawal symptoms. A couple of the er doctors had to actually call him and ask why I haven't got my meds. His poor staff has to hear and calm down patients. Because he will not makes calls. I even showed up at his office, he just looked at me. No hello. No how have you been. He took Kim into an office and told her to tell me to schedule an appointment. Washinski doesn't give a shit about his patients, he's just about the money. I mean $175 for less than ten minutes. I would think very seriously if you want to be treated like crap and ignored and spend more money on ER visits. If that's what you like then washinski is great. One more thing. I lost my son in 12/11/23 and you would think that would have some impact on the care. Hell no. I went to the ER more after I lost my son because he ignored all communication. You want good mental health then stay far away from this hack. read more

I feel bad for the other reviewer who had such a bad experience. That sounds like a horrible experience for someone seeking help to go through. I hope he found the help he needed. I don't normally review medical professionals, but I thought it was only fair to share my polar opposite experience. The front desk lady was polite and helpful and Dr. Washinsky was kind and caring. He didn't make me feel rushed and I felt he listened to me and my needs. From my one visit, I would feel comfortable recommending Dr. Washinsky to a friend or family. read more

I'm so disappointed. Was refered by my doctor. The young lady who makes appointments was so rude, and aggressive that I had to end my first conversation with her. She called back a weak later and again became extremely rude, and kept saying, "you sound like you have an anger disorder". She's not a doctor, and it's illegal to diagnose a patient over the phone like she did. I said I wasn't angry, but I wanted to know how many appointments were needed so I knew how to budget. $400 an hour is extremely expensive. Then she continued to say "you are angry" over and over. She was extremely aggressive. Finally, I couldn't take it any more and said some very angry words back. Her response was, "There it is.. AHAHAHAHAH". and continued to laugh because she thought it was funny to make someone who's looking for mental health angry. Two really disturbing conversations and I will never talk to them again. I called back and left a message that I'd like to talk to the doctor, but he obviously doesn't care enough about people to fix what they've done wrong. It seems to me that if you are gullible enough to pay $400 an hour and not know how many appointments you're going to need, then they will gladly take your money and not care about you at all. If a person that works for this man is so aggressive I'm now concerned about my HIPPA rights being violated by her in the small town where we live. She thinks it's funny. I don't. read more

I feel very good about this psychiatrist and he takes a lot of insurances other doctors don't and so is really providing a service to the veterans and the community. I will say I've never been to a psychiatrist before but I too found Dr Washinsky kind and caring and wanting to help with a few questions I had. I would recommend. I never had any problems with his staff either. read more
